Perhaps it's in relation to stock market crashes and all, which means to say he might be asking if you've had one recently.
I figure it isn't so simple, given "any stock market crashes lately?" is a lot more direct than... that.

True there, though it could've also been on stock market rules or anything of the sort relating to the inner workings of the Tsvarchian stock market...

Just as a mock question, since I'm mostly off this site now (basically me lurking around), have any companies from the Anarchist Planet of Pusat started and are there any known successful companies of Pusatian origin?

I'm not ICly aware of any Pusatian companies, so I don't know.

But knowing our people, they probably would abstain from purchasing goods from a Pusatian company because they wouldn't want their hard-earned lakris to be spent on a company in a country with economic policies they view so negatively.

So, what was the reaction to the zombie apocalypse in Tsvarchi?

Some minor Q&A, unofficially from Lemonius:

1. Does the Unified City States have an official stance on Xeno/FT nations? If so, what is this?

2. Does the Unified City States of Tsvarchi have an official stance regarding the Galactic Matriarchy of Lemonius? If so, what is this?

3. Does Tsvarchi have a space program? What successes have been made?

4. Are the Unified City States nuclear capable?

5. Does the nation have an official stance regarding nuclear capable nations? Should nuclear capability be a right, a privilge, or 'banned' in an ideal scenario?

6. Is there a national process for extra-terrestrial contact and/or attack? If so, can these details be shared?

7. Lastly, what is the highest grossing film at the box office in Tsvarchi at the present?

Thank you
Additionally, we apologise if any of the above queries have already been addressed

Certainly one of the best internationally coordinated April Fools pranks ever conducted. If only the world could work together to solve real problems, instead of make fake zombie outbreaks for a day.

Lemonius wrote:Some minor Q&A, unofficially from Lemonius:

1. The Unified City-States has no official stance on any nation (via the International Affairs Neutrality Act, 1932), although one can surmise based upon the discourse we have with specific nations, our general attitude or feeling towards these. FT and/or Xeno nations do not bother us in the slightest.

2. Per the International Affairs Neutrality Act, Tsvarchi does not issue particular views on any nation, although with our lack of any official diplomatic relations and/or interaction on the world stage, it is assumed (quite rightly) that at present Tsvarchi feels neutral towards the Galactic Matriarchy of Lemonius.

3. Tsvarchi's space program hasn't been at the forefront of importance in more recent years, although with the ushering in of a new administration, the space program has been promised a new monetary lifeline and as such we're excited for the future as we explore the possibility of terraformation and colonization of far away planets. The space program has resulted in permanent colonization of the moon, and we have a sizable space tourism industry.

4. Tsvarchi is a nuclear capable state, yes, however there remains in place a comprehensive ban on the creation, possession, and research of nuclear weaponry and power sources.

5. Tsvarchi believes that seeking nuclear capability is a right of every nation.

6. Tsvarchi made first contact with extraterrestrials some 150 years ago, and have opened diplomatic channels with various extraterrestrial civilizations over the years. Annually some 12 million passengers arrive via intergalactic flight through one of our 12 spaceports. To date, none have been hostile, but the National Militia does have a protocol to deal with such a situation, should it arise.

7. Tsvarchi's highest grossing film last week, debuting at #1 with $16 billion, was "The House of the Ghost King," which is a horror film about the late tyrannical king Dierj, and his haunting and culling of a local neighborhood population after his family compound was demolished to make way for new development.

Clause XXXVI, Clause XXIII, and Clause XVII.

(Sorry it took so long to reply... I need to pay more attention to this clearly. I had NO idea there was a question in here!)

What is the highest grossing film of 2013, and what did your new year's celebrations have?

Last year's highest grossing film was a highly dramatized, not-at-all-historically accurate depiction of the Tsvarchivan Civil War, called "The Decade War." It grossed $62.5 billion domestically despite being lambasted by critics. Historical films usually end up being the top grossing film in Tsvarchi, or at least in the top five, and they're always cash cows for the film studios.

Like all New Year's celebrations before them, and really any national holiday, it was celebrated in typical Tsvarchivan fashion. Dancing, eating, drinking from dusk 'til dawn, in the streets in untold numbers.

Then what about the song that stayed No. 1 for the longest time this year? Did it run for longer than any record in the previous years?

The first song to appear in '14 was released on January 11, and debuted at #1 and has stayed there since. It is by none other than Ejina Veneskan (surprise, surprise), and is titled "Girl." Considering the longest running #1 song stayed there for 133 weeks it is far too early to tell if this one will do the same.

Surprise, surprise. What is the highest song on the Billboards that is not by this singer, then?

The song in the #2 spot is Fiyaschi Schoe ("Gentle Rivers" in Maraquean) by Lysenea Vihri, vocalist for a Alternative band from the south of Tsvarchi in Estakuri. He is the most popular male vocalist in Tsvarchi today.

What is the state of feminism like currently in Tsvarchi? We presume that it still exists in your timeline as your nation exists in a time that is before our own.

feminism is viewed as a noble goal for more primitive societies where men and women aren't equal in law and practice.

Tsvarchi and Tsvarchivans are pro feminism because that's just common sense. Those who believe otherwise are viewed as quite strange and foreign indeed.

Do you believe that, given preferential treatment toward women in your society, a move toward greater gender equality to raise men to equal standing is desirable?

My politics have shifted somewhat leftward, but my nation so far hasn't quite moved as far to the left.
I don't date. Why should I? Too many foodie calls happening.
"Then why do you alter the Law to suit yourselves? In a thousand ways, you have perverted not only Moses, but the Nazarene, and you have done so ever since the blasphemous Paul of Tarsus said, 'Christ is the end of the Law.' You are neither Hebrew nor Galilean, but opportunists!" - Julian by the late, great Gore Vidal
