OOC: Yes. I figure I should clarify that, huh? I generally use "sentient" because that's how most players understand it, and because it sounds cooler. That, and in YellowApplan English (i.e. ICly), "sentient equine" is the "politically correct" term, despite the actual definitions, as the YellowApplan definition of "sentient" refers to full subjectivity, which has not been demonstrated (as least to YellowApplan knowledge) in any species not considered to have "human" complex behaviors; YellowApplan "sentience" refers specifically to abstract senses and feelings that are not directly influenced by external stimuli (in other words, it only refers to "abstract qualia", which in YellowApplan English basically means any qualia not related to the world outside one's consciousness).
