Freyar is too close to the border. It's not supposed to be a border town. In fact, they're all practically Border Towns with the map you made

The problem is jsut the nature of the territory...it's long and narrow, bordered by rivers. I was trying to place cities where it'd make sense--along coastlines and major rivers--and a lot of those points happened to be close to borders.

I can pull them furhter back, definitely.

Streams and tributaries exist, and they're not included for reasons of practicality, not to mention, nothing has been said about the actual cleanliness of the rivers, thus groundwater away from the river might actually be better. Then there's the fact that I gave you more than a half dozen names and you said no no not enough space, and then blaaaang they're all clustered at the edge on border towns and Freyar is like right smack in the edge almost off the protectorate when they're supposed to be a more populous city. I don't approve. Fix.

Fair enough, in absence of specific places on where to put cities, I do place them according to my judgement. I'm fine with you not being pleased with it as such, and I'm working on fixing it.

And the issue with having too many cities is that city markers are representing major cities. I believe my original scale was that a city on the map was supposed to have a population of >1,000,000.

Besides that there's an issue of physical room. I just don't have space for all the names you listed to be put in place without names getting uncomfortably close to one another.

So yes, I'm working on fixing your Protectorate. I'll have it up before I go to bed tonight.

Don't worry it wasn't a plot to put all of your cities on the edge of the territory where they could be easily grabbed by powers which may or may not be equipped with Lubyakan weaponry. *whistles innocently*

Verys is fine. Orla is also okayish but it could be better, and if you REALLY want to have a border town right there it will not be a heavily populated one how stupid do you think I am? EEEEhhh? If you really need Freyar's location for Shenanigans I know you're planning we will have a smaller town of Martician put there (which is a strategically better idea as a smaller town would not be suspected for offloading etc of said possible invasions that I don't know about.

SPIRES IS A LIAR.

Put them more toward the central Protectorate Proper and spread them out more and don't have them all hanging around the borders, it's just bad form.
