The usual sentence for someone convicted of rape consists of being tied to a post or cross-brace. At this point his (could be her, but usually his) victim is given leave to do whatever she (could be he, but usually she) wants to him, with any tools she chooses. While not technically a death sentence, it usually turns out to be one.

Pretty much this, only we don't use dragons....or drowning. Rape hinders our nation by causing victims traumatized stress, perhaps pregnancy, and even thoughts of suicide and thus hinders his/her performance for the need of battle. The rapist will then be court marshaled and then sent to the firing squad camp to be executed in anyway possible; i.e. electrocution, burning at the stake, firing squad, what ever gives out the most pain possible. The victim will then receive the rapist's earnings and will be looked after by the company commander or the first sergeant.

Since Yannians are well aware that draconian punishments will only increase the murder rate, a rapist, if found guilty, will be sentenced only to repay the damages incurred to his/her victim. The rapist may also undergo therapy (voluntary, and payed for by the state, after the first offense, mandatory, and payed for by the rapist, after the second). A third rape means the rapist will be incarcerated in a mental institution until deemed cured.
