We do not have gangs of elk, as they are not native to the area.

For awhile we had two gangs called the .45 gangs because they each favored a different .45 caliber handgun. The USP and the Colt 1911. They appeared among a spot of economic turmoil. One was trying to practice an illegal and as far as most citizens of Faolinn are concerned amoral form of capitalism by trying to enforce strict control over utilities which are normally free to everyone. The other was a group of rural vigilantes who chose to violently resist them. The violence climbed for a short period of time but is now well under control after a brigade of well armed law enforcement officials were dispatched to the areas of conflict. The .45 gangs still exist, but neither are very powerful at present. It helps when the bulk of the populace supported the vigilantes to begin with.

Though our all-persuasive Military Police has control over most crime, recently, a "gang" and insurgency group, named MFO (Machtigburg Freedom Operation), has begun attacks to persuade our Grand Duke to give the people more rights.

We have little gangs, but their are small pockets of Rednecks possee's, which doesn't really oppose the government, but the violators of our laws..

We have the few, usually Skinheads that are native Eslovakians although it's rare for them to engage in violent acts. Other gangs are usually made up of immigrants who cause the occasional trouble every now and then. Special police units are located near the gang areas should things happen but so far, things have been good. Gang violence is rare, its more common for them to be biker gangs.

Criminal gangs, most of them operate on the border and industrial worlds, where lawlessness is rampant. They mostly engage in arms, alcohol, and sentient being trafficking and are often vicious both towards the law (depends on the gang, though) and other gangs/criminals.

There are also raider bands, which raid small lightly defended colonies, settlements, and even military outposts.

Needless to say, we're cracking down on these crime organizations, hard, with successful results.

The Kanterlot Kings located in North Canterlot. The Manehattan Mares located in Manehattan's East Side. The Fillydelphia's Fetlocks in West Fillydelphia. The CMK (Cutie Mark Killers) located in Ponyville, but their operations are spreading. But most gangs only kill when necessary and give back to the community in many ways (much like the Yakuza of Japan). Gangs are too much of a problem in The Magical Land of Soxastan, but it would be better without them.

There are some gangs, but they are not a very big problem in Vecherd. They usually just hang around in poor areas and drink beer or do Mescaline.

Gangs are in decline, due to stiff sentences for violent crimes, as well as the legalization of marijuana (which is taxed) and the decriminalization of cocaine and heroin. Firm, but fair immigration laws also help control gang crime. Prostitution is legal, which undercuts organized crime and sex trafficking as well.

Despite our best efforts to provide our poorest citizens with the tools necessary to uplift themselves so they don't have to resort to criminal activity and join a gang, there are gangs in the poorer neighborhoods of Tsvarchi which engages in pick-pocketing, and muggings, although more serious crimes are rare.

Gangs usually prey on people walking alone at night, since it's unlikely somebody will witness the crime and chase after them to deliver some swift vigilante justice with a machete. It's not pretty when that happens...

There are some gangs, yes, but they are being dealt with by local citizens and police, as well as those in the war zones, who are being dealt with by the Army and state militias.
