No, the responsible move is to annex them and prevent every n00b ever born from making outrages statements. It helps to keep us hard working decent RP folk from running into n00bs with super economies around every corner.

While I see where you're coming from on that end, I still say additionally, the responsible thing to do would be not to profit off the obscene amount of oil the noobs claim, especially after their nation has been deleted for inactivity or they have retconned anything having to do with you.

So, on that note, who are these roughly 20 nations you're getting your oil from?

Of those, 15 don't exist, TRBI is so heavily contested and retconned that anything involving them is dubious at best for canon, and Comaack ... well, I don't really have to discuss Comaack with you, I think -- especially not since I should own half of the damned country. :\ And I skipped British Londinium since I have no idea what's going on there and I thought it was nuked so thoroughly that nothing is viable there anymore.

In general, that seems a ridiculous claim when most of the relevant nations don't exist anymore or are otherwise so questionable.

But meh, that's just my opinion.

Evening. I'm working on a reply in our '40s thread right now, but needed a quick break, so...

I can probably find this out elsewhere, but when does Griffencrest arise? And, I wonder, does the spectre of Walmington's role in bringing down the old Empire influence the corporation's thinking when it comes to WoS's North Atlantic petrochemical projects as we move towards the modern era? (And, for that matter, its huge uranium reserves in eastern Norbray, and so on?)

Eventually I'll get back to moving WoS forward. I don't know if I'll ever hit really Modern Tech, but we'll do at least the '50s and maybe the '60s and posssssssibly '70s, you see.
