Anemonian Armoured Forces Geostrategic Review and Reorganisation 2012 : Reconfiguration of the military towards maximum tracked, wheeled and hovertank rage.

1. Wheeled Tank for Rapid Mobility

Tanks cost money. Money doesn't grow on trees. Objective is to create a high performance main battle tank that doesn't need track maintenance, with competitive starting prices and maximum resale value.



Upgrade package for existing vehicle. By existing vehicle, we mean C-c-carta family car. By upgrade package, we mean an FSSO tank turret and eight solid fuel rocket boosters for russia strong

plexiglass window and Prius-thin metal provides protection against pretty much everything. Autoloaders cost as much as like a whole Xbox so we got some bum to push shells into the gun instead, now we rollin'

M1 Abrahams may have heavier armour, but familytank has better fuel economy. Comes in 7 colours

2. Nuclear Tank for Rapid Holocaust



Modification package for existing vehicle. Make all ammunition nuclear and strap ICBMs to tank for improved first hit power

2bn research funding for 12.7mm nuclear bullet

even the emergency rifle grenades are nuclear

I drink radiation for breakfast.

3. Raegtank for Rapid Anger



strap a raegface onto hovertank

fast and fucking furious

no armour, pre-pubescent raeg shoots down projectiles like some kind of retarded hormone fuelled APS

raeg alloy has up to 250% more penetration than depleted uranium because this tank is more pissed off than Trident

two antennas for motherfucking C4I, where is your god now

I mean, they'd have stuff like gate-ways to other worlds, possibly energy weapons and definitely the ability to warp space and time: but, it'd only be for RP's specifically directed at that kind of organisation. So would having this kind of tech kept in reserve make me some other tech level?

All that matters is that when roleplaying with someone who does not care for such things you silently act as if you don't.

That's the way to do it.

I tend to be more strictly realistic than he does, but I've got my tech mostly worked out from Turn-of-the-century/WW1 to MT, plus a little XVIII/XIX Century stuff, plus a developing FT incarnation (I don't really do PMT). So if I see something I like the look of that's in one of those time frames, I can participate. I also RP as strongly isolationist, so I don't get out much. Having 3 small kids does things to your time; isolationism lets me keep my NS participation in tune with my life.

Marines are just amphibious assault infantry deployed from ships. You can have Marines or like me just have a specialized Army Regiment or two.

He might be asking more about US Marines vs. the US Army. Definition gets kind of muddled. The traditional definition of a "marine" is just a soldier deployed from a ship. Modern-day US Marines are more of a rapid-response expeditionary force, who aren't exclusively limited to amphibious operations. They deploy from aircraft, operate armored vehicles, and as I understand it, basically act as conventional US ground forces independent from the Army. The main difference is that Marines can be deployed quickly nearly anywhere on the planet, where the Army is larger but slower to get moving.

I think that is true of any Marine force in western countries at least. I still support the idea however that there is nothing the Marines can do that a specialized Army unit couldn't do. It really depends on your military structure and your nations history. You have to ask yourself, does having Marines make sense?

Well Special Forces command arose in the US to coordinate different SF units from different branches. Which is one good reason to keep a SF command or something similar around.

Second certain SF units draw from all branches in the US, they don't have to in your country. Thus that unit gains from being move to a different command to make things simpler.

I should seriously have my entire military be nuclear, justify it by saying that my nation is the Saudi Arabia of uranium and hordes it all to itself. Nuclear artillery shells, nuclear rocket launchers, DU AP bullets, DU KEPs, DU shape charges.
