Introduction:

The United Socialist States of Soviet Russia Republic is massive, economically powerful, militaristic nation renowned for its barren, inhospitable landscape. Its compassionate, hard-working, cynical population of 172 million are ruled by a mostly-benevolent dictator, who grants the populace the freedom to live their own lives but watches carefully for anyone to slip up. The people who live in the Soviet Russian Union, which includes Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan, are all equal to one anther, no one is more equal than anther. Everyone plays their part to build the thriving nation Soviet Russia Republic is. Moscow is the great city that houses the government of the Union.

Private enterprise is illegal in the Union, resources are shared among the collective. Working is a right enjoyed by all citizens, everyone having a chance to better themselves and a state is a core value of Soviet Russia Republic. Arms Manufacturing and the Energy Sector make up the biggest portion of export goods, food makes up the biggest imports.

The Union is technologically advance, scientists recently began to clone human beings for research purposes. Soviet Russia Republic has its own space program and is working on setting up a moon base. Military spending is ever increasing as the nation becomes for economically powerful. Education and welfare are also on the rise, helping to keep crime down, along with a very generous budget for the Union's police forces. Soviet Russia Republic's national animal is the Gray wolf, and its currency is the Soviet Ruble.

History

Following the Asian financial crisis that came about in 1997, Russia Federation economy began to crash as well. Oil fell causing even more problems for the economy depended deeply on the price of oil. Belarus and Kazakhstan, both their economies tied to Russia and Asia heavily began to see their economics crash as well. Unemployment soured in the three countries to over 25% on average. Private companies failed to fix the problem in their own like the people were told, the government seemed to have little power to end the crisis. Belarus in early 1998 showed signs of a strong recovery due to strong government intervention. Inside Russia political unrest grew as the crisis went on. May 1st millions march across Russia to protest the economic situation. Violence broke out across several major cities, including Moscow, police opened fire with live bullets. 134 and 567 injured were killed on what become known as Bloody May Day. Boris Yeltsin was forced to call early elections. Lenia Baikov of the communist party won the poplar vote with an overwhelming 93% of the vote. The first thing she did was order all businesses, large and small, to be nationalized. The millions who had been out of work due to the crisis were employed right away. Belarus and Kazakhstan join Russia in a new Union. Soviet Premier Lenia Baikov held an emergency meeting with his counter parts in Belarus and Kazakhstan. In the meeting it was agreed that the three would now share open boarders, a common economic policy, currency (ruble),armed forces and foreign policy for a stronger united front. The new union would be called United Socialist States of Soviet Russia Republic. All business in the Union were fully nationalized. New Presidents were elected at each republic and answer directly to Soviet Premier Lenia Baikova.

Kyrgyzstan joins the Union in 2011. Soviet Russia Republic uses its economic power to help cause unrest inside Kyrgyzstan. Gunfire from Kyrgyzstan security forces erupted as protesters tried to storm government buildings. The Union used the unrest as an issue to invade to restore order and stop the killings of protesters, and to force the small nation into the Union. The Soviet invasion force quickly overwhelmed the small country and was annexed into the grand Soviet Union. Celebrations broke out all over the Union and Kyrgyzstan was welcomed with open arms by the Union's people.

Government

The United Socialist States of Soviet Russia Republic has a strong centralized government headed by Soviet Primer Lenia Baikova, who holds absolute power. The people of the Soviet Russia Republic elects representatives to its parliament, the Soviet National People's Congress every six years. The Peoples' Alliance holds a majority of the seats in parliament, with 90% of the seats held, many claim that the elections rigged. The main opposition New Russia, a right winged party, holds just under 6% of the total seats. The New Russia wants to bring an end to the socialist government, ending the command government. Its rumored New Russia receives funding from outside the country, from those that wish to bring Soviet Russia Republic to its knees. The Three Presidents of the Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan republics answer directly to the Primer. The three share a common currency, foreign policy, military, economy system, and open borders together.

The government tends to stay out of the personal affairs of its citizens on civil issues. There are full marriage rights for homosexual couples, soft drugs and prostitution are legal and taxed, all ethnic groups are viewed the same in law, women and men are also consider fully equal. However the government has total command of the economic system in Soviet Russia and tight control of the political system. There are no private companies, everything is own by the state and everyone works for the state of the Soviet Russia Republic . All known media outlets are own and run by the government, private ones found running are shut down and their runners are severally punished. Internet censorship is tight. Soviet Prime Lenia Baikova holds the right to use military force inside or outside the country at all times.

Economy

United Socialist States of Soviet Russia Republic has a command economy, nearly every aspect is controlled by the state. The shared currency of the union is the Soviet Ruble. All land within the Union's borders are own by the state. Soviet Russia ensures everyone that is fit has the right to work for the state. Often people are selected during their school years on what their future profession will based on their intelligence and skills. Workers are often are payed less on average than their counter parts in other capitalist countries, but goods and service are also cheaper on average as well. Backed by a healthy Education, where both basic and higher education are free of charge, system, the Soviet Russia Republic has a high tech smart economy. Major exports include, energy products, machinery, software, space equipment, military equipment, steal products, chemicals, cars, and electronic components .

Under Soviet Primer Lenia, the Union has seen on average a growth 7.1% in her years of running the Union. It did not take long for the Union GDP to exceed that of 1990s Russia Federation and ally nations, easily overcoming the devastating consequences of capitalistic governments. Real incomes were increased by almost five times than that of capitalist Russia Federation. Lenia made it her number priority to turn the Union's economy into a modernized smart economy. Thanks to her massive investments into education and nationalizing of all resources she was able to see her dream come true. Still energy products play a huge role in her economy, but not completely depended on them anymore. In the 1990s weapons manufacturing slowed, but under Primer Lenia they reached new levels never seen before and its considered as one of the best in the world today.

On February 18, 2012, a trade agreement was singed between the Union and the Republic of Davsland.

The Soviet Russia foreign policies number one concern is the protection of its citizens in the Union and abroad. No hostile action by any foreign state, organization, or persons will be tolerated by the Union on its citizens wherever they may be.

Armed Forces of Soviet Russia Republic

The Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces is Soviet Primer Lenia Baikova. Total active troop levels stand at 1,350,000, expected to raise in the future, and has 1,500,000 million more in reserve. The armed forces is an all volunteer force. Military reforms call for active troop levels to eventually reach 2,000,00in the future. Only nationals may serve in the Soviet Russia Armed forces. The Russian military is an all volunteer force, however the government holds the right to call a draft of all fit citizens to serve in the military if its deemed necessary. Persons who seek to join the military must be 17 years old and in good mental and physical health to apply, a basic understand of Russian and math is also required. People serving in the Soviet Russia armed forces serve no less than three years in active duty. The budget for the military is 3.5% of the total GDP. Soviet Russia's Armed Forces main focus is on its land and air forces, but still holds a decent size navy . Due to the extreme diversity of land inside the Union's boarders, Russian soldiers have training in almost any condition they may find themselves in. Almost all military equipment is produced domestically. Union Members a share defense network system.

The Union , under Primer Lenia's orders, has expended its weapons of mass destruction. Not only the the Union process nuclear weapons, it also has chemical and biological weapons in its arsenal. Currently, the Union has roughly 2,350 nuclear warheads, over 20,000 tons of chemical weapons from mustard gas to the deadly kolicki chemical agent, and over 500 warheads containing the TV-990 virus, small pox, and anthrax. Lunch sites are scattered around the Union. Primer Lenia has the power to order the use of WMDs, if her nation has come under attack or as a preemptive strike against an enemy state.

On February 20, 2012 the Union and the Republic of Davsland signed the Soviet Military Cooperation Pact. The nations agreed to defend each other, along with a number of other military agreements.

Demographics

63.6% of the population are ethnic Russians, Kazakhs make up the second largest group with 10.3 %, followed by with Belarusians 8.8%, the rest is made up of the many other ethnic groups found in the Union. In all there are roughly 170 ethnic groups found in the Soviet Russia Republic. In recent years there as been a population boom thanks to the healthy state of the Union's economy over the past ten years. Before the Russian Union formation there was population decline. Birth Rate stands at 15.9/1000. Life Expectancy is at 79 years. The main language of the Union is Russian, spoken by 98.8% of the population. Due to strict immigration polices from outside nations, immigrants make less than 1% of the total population growth. Well over 99% of Russians are literate.

Health

Soviet Russia Republic guarantees free universal health care for all citizens. Thanks to strong investment on healthcare by the government the people of the Union enjoy an advance healthcare system. The average life expectancy is 79 years for both males and females. A strong anti smoking campaign has helped raise the life expectancy. Mobile clinics, in train and plane forms, help give remote regions access to modern medical care. Foreigners often pay generous sums of money to get access to the great Soviet healthcare system.

Education

Soviet Russia Republic provides free education to all, both basic and higher education. 4.6% of the GPD is spent on education, this includes military training. All students are required to complete eleven years of basic education. Students are also required to wear Soviet school uniforms. Students who complete higher education are offered to become officers in the military. The government provides jobs based on ones performance in school and their skills. The Union has a program where foreigners from friendly nations that are consider poor are granted free access to the education system, many of them chose to stay in the Union and contribute greatly to the state.

Right winged terrorists, support by nationalists groups within the different republics, have lunched various attacks against the state in an attempt to try and other-throw the government. The government has lunched military operations against the terrorists.

My question is, does the SRR employ State Atheism (outlawing and persecuting Religion within its borders), or is Religion legal but not the norm?

Also, are citizens allowed to emigrate from or immigrate to the SRR?

State Atheism. While religion is illegal to practice, its very rare for authorities to actually persecute those who do it in their own homes. As long as you don't do it in public, the authorities will tend to over look it.

There are strict controls on immigration, less than a few thousand leave or enter the Union legally. Its more difficult to leave the Union than to enter it however.

I get this question a lot in telegrams. If you read my nation's page, you'll see how it clearly states "Private enterprise is illegal", yet considers me a "Capitalist Paradise". Why? No idea. I also answer issues that are pro-business too though, such as getting rid of rain forests for minerals, or something to that nature. It doesn't seem to take much account into my anti- private business decisions though. I'm going try and answer issues to change this though. Basically, for my nation, just ignore what the nation sates category says for now.
