ARSON ATTACK ON FAR RIGHT HEADQUARTERS

This morning at around six o'clock, the headquarters of the peoples party, the only far right political party to be standing in this years general election, has been set on fire.

fire teams were called to the blaze, on 23 lenton street, Mapfap, in the early hours after a number of passers by saw smoke rising from the tthird floor of the five story complex. The fire teams spent the next two hours attling the flames. the entire third floor was rendered unstable, and the party will have to spend hundreds of thousands of Tredmas on rebuilding it.

A spokesperson for the peoples party said of the fire:
"This was a cowardly act in which the entire third floor of our party headquarters on 23 Lenton lane. This looks as if it was a coordinated arson attack, and if this is the case, we shall be working closely with the police to bring the criminals to justice."

The arson comes just days after the current prime minister Edgar Smith passed legislation to privatise the fire service. Prime minister Smith said on the fire:
"This was of course a dreadful act of arson which should see the perpetrators caught and punished severely. The fire service did an outstanding job in dealing with the fire, and this should go to show what an excellent decision our parliament ,ade on privatising the fire industry."

Initial police investigations suggest that liberal activists were behind the arson attack, but their inquiries are still ongoing. However a spokesperson for the pressure group Liberal values declined to comment on the attacks in a press conference earlier this afternoon.

TREDMA REACHES RECORD LEVELS

The Tredma today opened in the Kittias exchange up a massive 0.2315, bringing yet more good news for the private sector. This recent growth also gives prime minister Edgar Smith a boost in the elections, as it was his party who decided to invest in Kittias exchange.

The Tredma now stands at 1T = $0.7426, a record gain on the dollar. This news comes as private sector giant Imperial Arms yesterday announced record profits. A spokesman for Imperial Arms said:
"As the Tredma increases in value, so too does our standing in the world of private sector corporations. Naturally, this is a welcome boost for the whole of the private sector."

There are now renewed hopes that Imperia Arms will start trading in global stock markets.

The Kittias exchange was first used by the Tredma last year, after prime minister invested 8 trillion Tredmas into the exchange. This drew sharp critiscism from the green party, who branded the move as a "reckless waste of public money."

NATIONS DECLARE INDEPENDENCE

Two new nations came into existence yesterday as Tyneristan and Pashertan broke away from the empire of Iphmopf. Their independence comes after months of debate between politicians in Iphmopfs parliament.

Tyrenistans new leader, Heinrich Redvolsch, immediately declared a new beginning for the people, and sent government soldiers onto the streets in an apparent genocide of multi ethnics and political opponents.

Pashertan started strongly as an independent nation in the newly formed The Trillon isles, by beggining an elections process to the parliament of Iphmopf, who will still have much control over the two countries.

Prime minister Edgar Smith said he and his military aids were 'monitoring the situation in Tyneristan,' but 'were happy for both the nations.'
