Savojars Vinge Virkaja: Football club, something like this, but the black should be the same blue as on my flag and instead of an A, it should be a V, and there should be a straight font reading "VIRKAJA" (all caps) underneath it. Metsuri Virkaja: Here, the problem is my lack of inspiration... the team is sponsored by the wood industry, so a lumberjack or a tree may work, but I haven't found a way of making that look good yet. The team's colours are dark green, black and white. Exact shade of green is up to you, as long as it's a "forest-ish" green. No stars in this one. As a general inspiration, I'd like the logo to look like something that could come from the USSR sports leagues (or other former socialist countries).
Those are the ones I struggle with the most for now. It'd be really cool if someone could help me with them!

Ohh, that's awesome! I like the design a lot, is there a chance you could redo it with an A again (but your design, not the Avtomobilist one I linked) and replace the blue star with a red, five-point Red Army star? That'd be for the (closely related) hockey club of Aviator Virkaja... the rest of the design can really stay the same if that works for you, they're both teams of the Air Force, just that SVV is football and Aviator is ice hockey.
Also, if anyone is interested in making the Metsuri logo, slight correction if it matters to you: The team is not as much sponsored by the wood industry but in its origins a team FOR lumberjacks and other workers in the industry. Then professionalisation happened, but officially Metsuri's players are still employed with Virkaja's (collectivised) wood company. This is the case for all Savojar teams. Just to make clear how tight their relation really is.
