Is better to make PNG instead of JPG except when design is photographic.
JPG introduces artifacts visible when color areas are flat.
JPG does not allow transparent background, PNG does.
Does your software allow saving as PNG?

indeed, my PC doesn't like the idea of PNG, some weird issues i have with saving different file types. i use JPG because it's relaible for me, but knowing that PNG supports blank areas is a great help, i'll bear it in mind next time.

Actually, I want a circle, but make it 8 inches by 8 inches, 4 by 4 inches, and 1 foot by 1 foot. Edit: Add a thick strip on the outer circle, and write Liberte, Unetee, and Jousdice in it. EDIT: Make it exactly how I wrote it, and Uneete is spellled Unetee.
