We have a zero-censorship policy regarding the Internet, but things like child pornography are illegal and the owners of such material can be prosecuted, especially those who operate any website or database that it can be found on.

Internet Neutrality and Freedom Act provides the rights to full and uncensored access to the Internet. But any internet users and web host has to abide by pornography and gambling laws which banned child pornography and underage gambling. Violation of those laws will face criminal charges.
Today, the only market system ever exist is state capitalism. It is designed in a way that the state takes the risk while the private sector profits from it.

Technically, you have no internet rights, because the internet itself is not a right. It is a service, just like anything else, and the Government reserves the right to cut your service for any reason.

For the most part, the Government does not care about censoring the internet. It's not afraid of the internet- and whenever they see a site they don't like, they start frying hard drives or sending men with sledgehammers to serverbases.

Free speech and anti-censorship laws keep things pretty much open on the Internet in Moralia, and just as long as you're able to pay a company for access, you're good.

Unlike some nations which are afraid of people thinking for themselves, we don't react by "sending men with sledgehammers to serverbases" when a website doesn't appeal to us.

The internet is completely uncensored. But owners and operators of websites containing illegal material (child pornography, terrorism etc.) can be charged and/or arrested.

While private ISP's dominate the market the government has recently installed high speed fiber optic networks in 7 major cities, and have installed a free city wide wifi service in Algonquin and Leighton.

The internet only exists in Povos do Mar as a basic e-mail programme, people are free to e-mail whatever they want to whomever they want. There are no internet browsers and its unlikely one would be made by a citizen since there is only one storage device for computer files and it is shared by every computer in the community; creating a browser could be seen as strange or decadent or unsocial when they could have instead spent their time working or socialising.
There is a large Intranet upon which every file is stored and available for viewing. Though it is mostly government files and a wikipedia type programme, there is also software or personal files created and uploaded by citizens. Computers are generally seen in a very pragmatic manner.

A lot of censorship. 90% of the worldwide-avaliable sites are censored, and any forum is banned, if it contains something against communism. Also, we block access to foreign news sites.

Only conspiracy to commit crime, and child porn are banned. The Floridian Coast is a hub for piracy and hosts some of the largest international BitTorrent servers.

However, there are some other restrictions - any site deemed to be racist, sexist, or homophobic will have a warning in front of it telling people the site promotes hate and that parents should exercise discretion in allowing their children to view it. This warning is liberally applied, and is in front of most websites promoting religion.

My nation has an harsh politic on Internet, so all the Firstarian connection have been bypassed into the Archangel server. Archangel controls the whole connection in Firstaria as the only one OS and connection servers in the country, secretly controlling all the population but at the same time safeguarding with a special quarantine system virus and hacking problems. Hackers are, however, considered here a big resource and T-ZERO, our secret services, actually have many squads trained only in net wars on Archangel.

Rouge Hackers found around are quickly traced, captured, and offered to work into sub-controlled-squads of the governement or they "disappear". All their hard and software are then used by T-ZERO to reverse engineering and improving them.

Upon the creation of the Internet, the Grand Empire instantly noticed the amazing potential that it has. Knowing that Humanity would take time for it to be taken to the extremes that the Emperor saw, we separated ourselves from the "Internet", to create our own system, the Extranet. This system, while allowing citizens complete and utter freedom to access any pages they wish, there are several different things that the Empire watches. Following the development of the Extranet, however, the ExtraNet Security Agency, or ENSA, keep a close eye on the Net. Our Security agents are constantly running through Extranet to ensure that no information, such as detailed descriptions of Imperial Black Projects, Top Secret data, or the names and locations of our agents or operations are released to the public. Other than that, citizens have freedoms to any and all pages (with the exception of computer virus imprinted pages, who are shut down on sight by Extranet Security Agents). Adding to that security, any sights promoting different views (whether racist, sexist, homophobic, religous, etc.) will be subject to ENSA agents placing a warning in between you clicking the page and entering the site. The warning will say something along the lines of "This Site is known for (Whichever view) views, and it is advised that it is used with Caution."
Immediately following the warning is a "Go Back" button for those that do not wish to see the view, and a "Continue" button for those who do not mind.

The ExtraNet was developed by the Government, only the Government can "give out" the ExtraNet connections, and any and all requests for ExtraNet connections must go through the ExtraNet Distribution Agency, or ENDA. The Basic connections, allowing you and your specific household to have access to the ExtraNet with decent speed, is free. The Premium Connection, allowing you and your specific household access to the ExtraNet with near instantaneous speed, costs 100 Credits per month. The Basic connection comes with 2 Imperial Computers for the household, added to any you might already have, and The Premium Connection comes with 3. Once the Basic Connections are contracted, they cannot be turned off, and will change households should you move. The Premium Connection cannot be "ended", per say, but only brought down to Basic Connections. If you wish to restart it, you must continue to pay the 100 Credits, but will not receive 3 ICs.

ENSA currently has a large eye on hackers, as there has been a recent increase in the amount of hacks per day. ENSA normally break down the hacks shortly after they occur, but still keep an eye out. Any hackers are traced to their starting point quickly, through ENSA's Security Agents placed across the country, and are forced to pay a fine of nearly 2000 credits. Any money, information, or damage done must be paid as well, in addition to the fine. They are then placed in an ENSA facility for the next year as "time" for the hacking attempt. After they are released, they must call an ENSA officer daily, and the officer must check up on the hacker daily. ENSA will also add a bookmark to his connection system to able to trace him more directly, knowing which sites he visits instantly. In the event of another outbreak, ENSA has several well-trained "anti-hackers" working for them, though they are only ENSA agents trained in Network Warfare. Recently, however, the Empire introduced that each connection have a complex firewall, though not nearly as complex as the Imperial Firewall. They are generally upgraded monthly, as a Basic Firewall Upgrade. If you wish to purchase the Premium Firewall Upgrade, it costs 20 Credits. To purchase an instant update service, meaning that when Firewalls are made, they will be instantly implemented into your system, costs 32 credits.
To add to that protection, an ExtraNet-Wide Artificial Intelligence (ExtraNet Defense-END) has been implemented to keep an even closer eye on the net. With an AI and (CLASSIFIED) of agents, it is a feat to even attempt to break through the Basic Firewall Updates.

For the Government, the ExtraNet is often used as information gathering, and contains an extremely large portion of the Empire's sensitive and non-sensitive data, built behind a nearly impregnable firewall, and is constantly being upgraded, whether or not someone has found a way to break through the Firewall. It allows the Empire to store information regarding friendly or hostile nations without the fear of the information being released.
Any Government sites made for the public (Such as the Cerberus Factbook, holding public information on other nations) are considered part of the Government Firewall, and are protected by the Imperial Firewall.

However, knowing that there are people who can extract information and place it on the "Internet", ENSA also has agents searching the Internet for any information related to the Grand Empire, and deletes those that pose a threat to the Empire. How it is that ENSA agents go about doing this is Classified.

The Saiwanian government does not regulate internet content in anyway, except when dealing with child pornography or other illegal activity such as malware distribution, identity theft, scams, and the like.

Any websites that are hosted within Saiwania can be reported and subsequently taken down by court order if the website in question is verified to contain child pornography or illegal content. The owner and any users within our jurisdiction can and will be prosecuted for participating in criminal activities.

Bestiality is illegal because we don't believe animals can consent and is classified as animal abuse, while lolicon is legal on the grounds that it does not involve any real persons. Hentai and adult pornography is legal. We do not actively censor any internet content. ISPs are allowed to provide people with unrestricted access. But government organizations, private citizens, schools, and businesses within our nation may choose to use internet filtering software for a variety of reasons.

We generally believe in the vision of an open, secure, and unhindered internet. We look forward to the future innovation it will bring in the exchange of ideas/knowledge/entertainment.

Censorship is constitutionally banned, Privacy is constitutionally protected. This applies to the internet as with all other modes of communication. However, self censorship is allowed, and there are ISP's that cater to those wanting "Nanny" services, like porn blocking. Any crimes perpetrated over internet are just what they are. Fraud, theft, privacy violations, and malicious attacks are prosecuted as being just that.

The computing power needed for the internet was originally provided by the government. No one else had the resources. However, companies providing internet infrastructure are now common, and regulated as public utilities.
