In our nation, it's virtually open, apart from obvious things like libel laws/ obscene publications act etc. so pretty good in this respect. We adhere to EU law on this, even though it's not compulsory in our area.

Censorship is at the discretion of the user.

Censorship and lies are not taken kindly. Our internet, like our media, has state-controlled sources, private media controlled sources, and sources updated by regular people. Piracy is accepted and is legal.

The Internet is here is unregulated, treated as practically a foreign nation. Acts committed on the Internet are legally treated as if they had been committed in a foreign nation unless the act can be proven to have occurred on a site specifically situated here, by a person situated here, against a person situated here. For instance, if someone commits fraud on the Internet, he cannot be charged with any crime unless he actually brings the money here, whereupon he is charged with money-laundering, because the fraud itself was committed outside of Awesomeland (on the Internet).

Censorship is unheard of, mostly because in our culture it is customary to react with violence to the attempt, so a service provider that tried it would likely be torched by an angry mob while witnesses conveniently failed to notice.

Since in our nation, "copyright" only protects the right to any profit derived from the distribution of the work, not the distribution of the work itself, what other nations deem "piracy" is considered to be entirely legal (not to mention occurring outside of our jurisdiction if it is happening on the Internet).

You can do pretty much anything you want except for putting zoophilic, necrophile, and child porn on the net. Images of true abuse are also illegal. That is still considered morally reprehensible and punishable

A person must have a license to own a computer. Licenses are given to an individual at the age of 8. Licenses are taken off those with criminal records (however, for small crimes, they can be re-earned with civil labour).

As for restrictions, we have none.

Everyone is entitled to FREE internet. There are wireless hotspots everrywhere you can get mobile phone reseption. Kalaspia-Shimarata also has an internal internet, ksnet. This can be picked upin Kalashi province and colony with the internet. Neither are censored, but wedo have a whole cyber police force out there monitering the internet. These people consist of hackers and injured police officers. They check random public websites to see if there are any crimes or viruses, spywehere etc. You can also submit a report to them and they will investigate it. This is the only time they are allowed to check private websites, emails, social network accounts etc. Other than that, they are STRICTLY FORBIDEN from viewing private or semi-private (i.e. Intranets, staff only sections of websites etc) things, but they may view public websites, blogs, social networking etc. as you know, they are publicq

Completely free; nothing is censored on our internet, even child pornography and "piracy". Discretion is at the hands of the user. The Republic works hard to ensure free Wi-Fi access in metropolitan locations and in many rural locations for convenience and education reasons.

Malicious hacking is punishable as though it were a physical action and proven providers of spam within our borders are blocked immediately.

The government holds a monopoly on internet provision. Internet access is free and fast throughout the nation. The government censors illicit sexual, religious, political and other internet activity deemed to be against the people's interests.

Virus, worms and other things tend to not get far..there are suspicions that something lives in the net.
