The Royal Bourse is Regnum Albion's primary stock exchange. It is a mutual organisation founded in 1892 by an association of fifty-five Anglican banks, which still vote on its management and regulation. It operates five subsidiary organisations:

• RB Clearings provides clearing and central counterparty services;
• RB Securities deals in securities settlement and custody services;
• RB Registry provides a shares registry and financial information service;
• RB Transactions provides payment services in Regnum Albion and other countries where it operates;
• RB Banking Clearings provides real-time gross settlement services on behalf of the Crown Bank of Regnum Albion.

The listing requirements for the Royal Bourse stipulate that a company must have a minimum market capitalisation of £750,000, three years of audited financial statements, sufficient working capital for at least 12 months' operation after the date of listing, and a minimum public float of 20%.

The Bourse became fully automated in 1999, at which point it also introduced the RB250 Index, representing the two hundred and fifty listed companies with the highest market capitalisation. The Index gauges the prosperity of companies operating under Anglican companies law. It began on a base value of 1000, closing at a peak of 5023.65 on 12 September 2012. It is currently fluctuating around the 3400 mark.

Carpathia doesn't have any publicly traded markets and really wouldn't have much use for one even if we did. There is a stock index called the CTSI 7 but it's only a measure of the performance of the productive bits of the state apparatus, such as our defence industries, EnviroGen (the state energy generation and distribution organisation) and Energy Resource Solutions (the state body responsible for managing Carpathia's natural resources). The CTSI's record high was 21,373.94 points, it's record low being 9,484.76 (it's initial value being 10,000). It currently stands at 20,202.85.

All major corporations are on the GNSE and the GNSE competes with some of the major stock markets in the world. The GNSE has investors from different nations and different regions.

Right now, the GNSE is trading at $12,240 after a 2% rise last night. The GND (Guptalarian National Dollar) is on the rise and commodities (oil, natural gas, corn...) are doing well.

There was one major crisis back in 1941, when the nation was young and fresh. Traders over hyped on a new company that released their IPO. Eventually, the stock crumbled and thousands of people who had invested half of their live savings lost a lot of money.

We got out of it when foreign investor Makatu Yatumi came and created Fiji Motors, the second largest car company now in Guptalarian.
