The official language as written in the constitution is Modern Deshian, which is a stark contrast to the old Deshian spoken by tribesmen. Linguists pin the language as a mixture of Slavic dialects and another unknown eastern language similar to Japanese.

All immigrants must learn it to be granted citizenship.

Co-Official are Old Deshian, English(Cliffton Province), French (Beaumont City), Hebrew, and Russian(in northern provinces).

English is the Federation's primary exchange language, and the language in which the federal government and military conduct business. It is also the official language of Trasnia, and an official language of Nakuju and Shinra.

Mirfakan is the official language of Mirfak and an official language of Shinra.

Than is the official language of Than.

Korean is the official language of Saeroun Kogu.

French is an official language of Nakuju.

Arabic has a significant presence in Shinra, mainly as an auxiliary language among its Muslim population. It is culturally and religiously important, but not used for official State business.

There isn't a true "national" language in D-16, as several forms are used when two AIs comminucate. Usually poetic sounding languages (Italian, Spanish etc...) are used by the higher classed AIs, whilst the lowest on the scale use binary and/or English and other sloppy languages...

In worukal and worukal major there are a few main languages.

The most common is Lekq (a creation of my own), and second most is English.

Coming up to that Gaelic and sometimes Latin.

Italian is the official language, though most citizens are bi-lingual in regards to 'the common tongue'. There are others commonly understood and spoken in the Dominion, depending on the region, or even the district of any one given city.

Latin
This is mostly used or understood by the more educated, historians, clergy, though by no means limited to those groups.

Greek
A smattering exists primarily in the northeast portion of the nation, and thus, Devras (the capitol) itself.

Arabic
A very small percentage, mostly descendants of historical invasions. Small sectors with strong Arabic influence can be found in Devras, and in those areas, these dialects would be common

Teutonic languages
These are mainly to the north, in the mountains and along the land border. The usual blending of such is due to historical boundaries shifting.

Other
Given the size of the nation, the varied peoples and races in their alliances, trade partners, and contacts, it is understood that they have more than natives living in the Dominion, on a temporary or somewhat permanent basis. Given that, especially in the capital, it would not be amiss to see the occasional non-human race from any of those nations. Along with that comes their native languages, but they are far from a ‘common’ sort of thing outside their groups.
