We employ a system where food, nutrients, and water are fed through tubes which connect a reserve storage tank on the back of the individual to veins on his chest. Its called the "Warrior Field Sustainment System" or WFSS. Troops call it " the fluid." The warrior is constantly and regularly sustained with refills being just a simple pump from a main storage tank. In addition, other food, nutrients, and water can be turned into safe delicious ration, via the pack's grinding unit.
