Introduction
The 'Deities' of DaiHan are not deities in the traditional sense. While some may choose to worship them, no true places of gathering are constructed in their names, and they have a palpable effect on the world, or at least DaiHan. Typically they are only able to affect the world through people's actions, and things directly resulting from them. While there are many, many deities, only a few are truly relevant, being the two generally opposing Deities, the first and most established of which is Shen Dìnggòu, the God of Order. The second is Shen Jūnhéng, god of equalization. Each can and will affect various people in different walks of life and states of mind, but generally only at the stage when it would be most beneficial for the deity involved. Each tries to undermine one another, though Dìnggòu is generally much less subtle about it. Both are static throughout time, knowing all they ever will always, and being able to change things in the past as they are needed in the future, effectively making them omniscient. Their power, however, is not limitless, as a choice is almost always left to their direct subjects.
Ability
Typically, a Deity has no more strength than a man, if and when it manifests itself as a physical being at all. Their power, however, lies in their knowledge and ability to communicate it to people. They will speak to them in dreams, sometimes directly, and sometimes through visual and psychological messages. Sometimes they will manifest themselves as hallucinations, visible only to the one they seek to affect. However, contacting the right person at the right time can have a dramatic effect on the outcome of a (sometimes life or death) situation. Enough tweaking in the past can ensure someone in the present safe passage, or an untimely death. However, a deity will generally only do this once a person is sworn into service to them or one of their enemies. However, you need to agree to serve either Deity.
Shen Dìnggòu

Shen Dìnggòu, the God of Order, will generally only present it to people of high political power, military leadership or royal blood. However, the fact that their family raised to royalty since the bronze age is likely due to Shen Dìnggòu's influence anyhow. It essentially ensures the lower class stays the lower class, and those of high blood stay in power. It also helps to ensure that the military remains a force on a global scale. It is also directly responsible for the military and law-enforcement programs dedicated to tracking down those who serve Shen Jūnhéng, as those in a position of power to develop such a program would likely sympathize with Shen Dìnggòu's goals. The citizenry is generally unaware of Shen Dìnggòu's presence.
Shen Jūnhéng,

Shen Jūnhéng, the God of Equalization, presents itself to the disadvantaged when they enter a manipulable state of mind. A hard life is generally necessary to put people into a proper state of mind to forward the cause of Shen Jūnhéng. He can actually be traced back to a warrior from the Iron Age who attempted to spread Anarcho-Communism from the island of Chaozhi Tu. After his execution was stopped by hundreds of onlookers charging onto the gallows and beating the executioner to death with fists and cudgels, the warrior (who's name shall not be stated in this discussion) killed himself, believing that he deserved his execution after being fairly captured. As if to spite him, it is believed he was given the duty of spreading his old beliefs to and through the populace post-mortem. He will typically make minor changes to the near past in order to prevent the death of those who serve him, and values covertness and discretion. The government will almost immediately hunt everyone he influences.
