How did you get your flag??

My flag and other stuff on NSWiki are made using the pricey Adobe illustrator, with a help of colour calibration to get proper RGB equivalents for PANTONE colours. The colours of the flag are PMS Process Blue and PMS 123.

Next, I'll buy a real version of the flag.

I found a black-and-white Decepticon Seal in Google and then changed the colors in Photoshop to give it a darker vibe.

The resulting image was originally my desktop wallpaper, so I had to shrink it down, too - both in terms of pixels and MBs. NS had a rather small size limit at the time.

I took a template from another image and used MS Paint to move a picture of myself next to the quote on the template. Then I clicked 'Save'.

If you have a friend with Photoshop or similar, you can whip one up in no time. That's what I did since I can't afford any of it and am too lazy to pirate it.

Older flag of St Lucia used an old version of PS Elements to turn the center sideways then it was copied and horizontaly flipped.

@above, that's pretty epic.

Found a picture of heraldic bears on google. The shield template background was part of the heraldic bear image.

Then I got the two main service rifles of my nation, and laid them in a cross-rifles fashion and used google translate (sorry real Russians

) for the text - People's Technocratic Republic of Samozaryadnyastan.

I added stars to the French flag and a cross to recreate the flag of Romandy in Paint.net. Then I changed the colours. Then I had a flag maker add the coat of arms because I didn't feel like it.

Initial work done in Karbon14, a Linux vector graphics program (easier to use than Inkscape), exported to a png and resized in GIMP.

What that guy said... owait, that's me. This flag (Distruzian) is more classical liberal and monarchically inspired than the Southron Nations culturally inspired flag.

IC: The flag was created from the flag of the old regime. It used to have a hammer and sickle, but it was removed to represent the revolution's purifying attributes.

OOC: I got a yellow stripe and put it on a white background.
