The Empire of Bahanesia (Bahanesian: Kekaisaran Bahanesia or Bersifat Memerintah Keadaan Bahanesia, Dutch: Rijk van Bahanesia) is an imperialist Adrastosian state and political entity that comprises of numerous and several territorial and land acquisitions and naval exclusion zones currently under the sovereignty of the present-day Dual Monarchy that was formally established on the 15th of March, 710. The state, officially known as the Imperial State of Bahanesia or in common term knowledge as the Bahanesian Empire, was primarily established after the consolidation and the consequent amalgamation between the Göertzen Dynasty and the Javanaer Kingdom on a disputed date* (see below).
Located in what is known as the Bahanesian Peninsular Subcontinent, Bahanesia is a peninsular country mostly under a tropical and humid climate with some areas of hinterland in the provinces near the Impen Mountains to the north. Natural resources such as oil, uranium, and other ground minerals have become the main exporting as well as manufacturing staples of the Bahanesian economy, as well as agricultural enterprises that have allowed for a food surplus to have sustained in Bahanesia (Great Plunder). Tsunamis and other coastal natural disasters are frequent to some extent, as well as tropical storms and typhoons that linger around the eastern waters.
The country's rapid improvements in the developments of heavy industrialization, commercialized agriculture, and fierce notion of militarism under the reign of Giganardus IV (1875-1956) jolted Bahanesia's place in world affairs and allowed for the rapid succession of numerous military conquests throughout Adrastos to occur. At the height of Bahanesian imperial dominance in Adrastos, its maritime boundaries extended as far as 3,200,871 square kilometres, marking itself as one of the largest maritime empires in Adrastos.
Currently, the Empire of Bahanesia has maintained a closed-door policy for some time, allowing for more focused time to be spent towards the internal frameworks within the Imperial Government to occur, and as such is not a member of any international or intergovernmental alliances or organizations.
* = The exact date marking the official unification of the two sovereign governments has been of some subject according to Bahanesian natural historians. Some claim the date was on 10th April, 710, while others have stated that due to miscommunication and a complicated communicative system, that the date was actually the 13th of September, 640. No official stance from both the Imperial Crown or his Government have ever made any indication.
