A bottle of Kumis. traditional fermented horsemilk. Sometimes the stuff is destilled, giving a clear hard liquor, that is called Kumisti. The laws regarding it say that, as long as you do it the traditional way, anyone may make raw Kumisti, making it a readily availlable drink almost anywhere. As though with the fall of the Empire the states alcohol monopoly fell, beer began to replace it. Only distilling requires a license, as to make sure you don't produce something dangerous or unhealthy. Nowadays many communities produce their own beer, and the home-brewing-kits sell excellent on the cities. Many areas, villages, even single families pride themselves upon making the best beer, and a yearly competition is held in Berkopol. Especially the younger generation has discovered beer-brewing as a cheap and easy way to get a bit of spending money - or to get hammered. Most beers are neither clarified nor pasteurised, and are held in wooden barrels and sometimes stored for several years.

The small elite of Kumisti-afficionados exist, but the stuff that "tastes like sour milk" is nor very popular.

As far as fermented drinks go, beer is king. Amber Lagers and Stouts are the most celebrated, while lighter varieties are only had during the warmer months. None of that 55 calorie stuff... that will get you laughed out of the bar.

Cider is close second, made from Actalius' bountiful apple crops and is enjoyed year-round.

Spirits are also popular. Scotch, vodka, whiskey, gin, the works.

Of all alcoholic drinks, Beer is the most popular, followed by Whiskey and Vodka.

A popular brand of beer is Tyranno, a particularly tasty beer made from high-quality hops and other ingredients.

While not illegal, regulated or age-restricted, alcohol, like most other mind-altering substances is taboo. Our nation was founded on rational enlightened principles and most people think the mind should be clear every waking hour. Recently however, there has been growth in pagan religions, which use alcohol in rituals. Alcohol is still difficult to come by.
Wait an hour, and it will be now again

Not even Liberion beer? What sort of barbaric nation do you run?

Anyways, we have beer. The Bavarian kingdom is famous for it. Legal drinking age is 14 throughout the country and our overseas territories.

Alcoholic beverages are a part of Tsvarchivan culture, tied in with our extensive party culture. Tsvarchi's most famous alcohols include its rum, but it is actually the third most popular alcohol behind whiskey and vodka, of which Tsvarchivan varieties are also quite popular.

Alcohol can be consumed at any age, as well as purchased at any age, but a alcohol retailer has the right to refuse purchase to those they do not wish to on the grounds of age or perhaps if they are already visibly intoxicated.

Beer is not consumed by most Tsvarchivans on a regular basis, but it is still one of the top consumed alcoholic beverages in the country behind rum. The Anza Conglomerate's Altezi Wines & Spirits is the nation's top distributor of alcoholic beverages in the nation.

Alcoholic beverages are widely consumed in Valcluse and are largely part of the culture here. There is no age of consumption and people may begin drinking alcohol as early as three or four years old. The legal purchase age for alcohol is 17.

Beer is the second most popular drink after wine. The most popular beers are Heineken and Stella Artois.

Because it is an integral part of Valclusian culture, we have very few problems with alcohol.

Contrary to popular belief, Kawaiians do drink; they're just very circumspect about it.

Kawaiian religious law requires an adult Kawaiian to be responsible at all times; however, it is permitted for a Kawaiian to delegate that responsibility to another. Thus, a Kawaiian can get drunk if they wish, but only if there is a sober Kawaiian with them who will answer for their behavior.

The traditional Kawaiian drink is sake. Kawaiian sake goes through a rigorous quality control process, not only physical to ensure purity of ingredients, but also spiritual to exorcise any evil spirits that may attempt to infiltrate it and possess the drinker. A barrel cannot be tapped unless it has been first blessed and sealed by a nekomusume (Kawaiian priestess/nun).
