Geography
The Empire of Sporae is one of the largest nations in the world, encompassing territory larger than modern Canada. Its land area is made of several islands, conquered over many years of imperialist conquest, which surround one large island. The Empire is isolated in the middle of the ocean and has access to almost all resources imaginable, including, but not limited to: uranium, gold, silver, iron, wood, copper, coal, oil, natural gas, ect.
Climate: Brutal winters in the North with mild summers, with the Southern areas matching. Most of the nation enjoys temperate climates with weather extremes during the winters and summers.
Environmental Issues: Sporae’s jungles are rapidly decreasing in size, as are its forests; however, both are undergoing major reforestation.
Coastline: Total coastline of The Empire and all her Earthly territories is approximately 300,000 km, or a little more than Asia, due to the sheer number and size of the islands.
Land use: Much of the land is extremely fertile and is excellent for growing food. Much of the land, however, is also barren and inhospitable, and is sometimes used by the military for its experiments or other purposes.
Natural Hazards/Disasters: The following natural disasters are common in some or all of Sporae: Tornadoes, hurricanes, severe storms, floods, ice storms, avalanches, ect.
Economy
The Empire of Sporae boasts one of the most powerful economies in the world. It is a capitalist economy. Every one of Sporae’s citizens who are not incarcerated pay an equal income tax of 30%. There are no exceptions, but the percentage can change at any time.
The Empire also relies heavily on a massive private sector for economic growth. Its public sector is mainly used for basic public services such as police, an over bloated military, fire, and water. Even healthcare is primarily private sector run with very little interference from the government in order to promote lasse-faire capitalism.
Sporae is also a chief exporter in its region of gold and uranium.

The Empire of Sporae’s strong economy can also be attributed to the hard labor camps which can be found worked by criminals. They work jobs that citizenry would not willingly do, and they are almost completely self-sufficient, therefore not costing the taxpayers much money.

History
The Empire of Sporae was found by settlers who got lost on an island, escaping a hostile regime. The island that they had landed on was uninhabited for the most part and extremely fertile. Instead of trying to find their destination of Asia, they instead stayed and created a new society for themselves. As time went on, the population grew to the point to where they had to expand, and eventually filled the entire island. They called their new nation “Sporae” which is latin for “Spore” because of how quickly they overtook the island, and how they saw the nation in the future.
On the outskirts of the young nation were hostile peoples, and while the people of Sporae had no ill will towards them, Sporae built a large military with astounding speed, “just in case” that was swelled with eager volunteers, ready to defend their homes from an impending attack that they were sure would come from the savages on the outside. Those hostile peoples attacked the people of Sporae and drove deep into its heart, defeating Sporae’s army in battle after battle, while Sporae and its 14 million inhabitants struggled to fight back. The barbarians released a deadly virus in hopes to eliminate the people of Sporae, and took the lives of 1 to 2 million. The people of Sporae became enraged, and rebuilt its military with another million poorly-armed soldiers. Every person, man, woman, and child who could walk and carry a gun joined the military and pushed the barbarians back into their own lands, but they continued into barbarian lands and burnt every barbarian building they could find. They shot any resistance and forced the women and children to leave with the men within 24 hours, or else they would be forced into hard labor forever. Many of them left, and a few committed suicide. Sporae eliminated every last trace of the barbarian nation, even their name, and so the name of that nation was never known by future generations. On that day, the sky had turned black with smoke because of everything that was burnt.
From that point on, Sporae’s military and population grew with astounding speed, and it expanded into the behemoth of a nation that it is today, though rarely encountering other nations.
That was Sporae’s most bloody war. It has fought in several military actions all around the world, and not a single defeat has encountered its military, which will be explained in a later section.
Military
The Empire of Sporae has the finest military in the world, bar none. It uses experimental weapons, biological weapons, and even weapons in space. It holds a large nuclear arsenal and the most advanced weaponry in the world. Military service is compulsory for all males and females who are able-bodied and reach the age of 16. However, they are not regarded as the full-time, professional military and are not quite as efficient fighters, but can be called upon for duty if need be. The branches of the professional military and its current numbers, active and inactive, are as follows:
Legionary Army: 20 million
Legionary Navy: 7 million
Legionary Air Force: 12 million
Legionary Space Corps: 5 million
Experimental Development Force: 7 million
Elite Legionary Guards: 1 million

Note that these numbers apply only to the military of Sporae. Occupational forces of new territories are not included.
The Legionary Army is the largest of the branches of the Empire of Sporae’s military. They are the professional backbone of the military, designed to go toe to toe with the enemy and win. They use advanced weaponry that is often not found elsewhere in the region, such as laser weaponry for precision kills.
The Legionary Navy is smaller in comparison, but nonetheless boasted to be large and technologically superior to its foes.
The Legionary Air Force is designed to win in the air and support the other two main branches. The technological feats of them are astounding, boasting planes that easily break the sound barrier. The planes are not able to be shot down with standard anti-air weaponry due to heavy armor.
The Legionary Space Corps is designed to win battles in space over satellites, and launch space-to-ground or space-to-air missiles and conduct warfare in this way, or be used as a kind of anti-nuclear missile technology. While not as effective in combat as the Air Force, they provide a true shock to an enemy unprepared for warfare in space.
The Experimental Development force is a new branch of the military, mostly covering non-combat roles. They develop new technologies, and then use them on the battlefield. If effective, they are then considered to be inserted into use for the rest of the military. Sporae has often been in trouble for its use of un-ethical weaponry, such as biological warfare, lasers, ect, however, the Empire pays no mind, always defending its way of conducting warfare as ending wars quickly.
The Elite Legionary Guards are the best soldiers in the world, without equal. These men are genetically enhanced to be bigger, stronger, and faster. Women are not considered for this role, as some of the feats of strength involved, such as teaming up to lift a tank, are not possible for them. It is said that one unarmed Legionary Guard proves more of a threat than an entire armed military of a small nation. They are trained in hand to hand combat and are efficient killers. They will not be on the front lines. Rather, they are the hammer of the anvil, ready to pound an enemy into submission from behind, or sabotage, or assassinate. If the Legionary Army kills, these men massacre. It is the smallest corpse of them all, but by far the most skilled.
If this superior army has any weakness, it is that it is extremely expensive to maintain. 40% of government expenditure is used for military funding. A war of attrition could prove dangerous for this behemoth of a military, and that is an enemy’s only strategy to defeat the Empire, as defeating it head-on is never a strategy.

Government type: A democratic republic. An “Emperor” is figurehead of the nation who holds limited power, but he is elected by the people, as are all branches of the government, including the judicial, legislative, and executive branch.
Administrative divisions: It is divided into regions, each with a government that answers to one national government that is headed by the Emperor and his legislature. Sporae is one nation, and any new part of Sporae is immediately assimilated into the Empire as a new region.
Suffrage: All citizens may vote at age 18 once they pass a few tests testing their intelligence, IQ, and historical knowledge. Immigrants must live in the country for 10 years before they may vote, and convicted felons may not vote.
