All groups are allowed free speech and all civil liberties, including the right to assembly, protest, and counter-protest no matter their message, as long as, like all other groups, they follow the law.

There are, however, scarce few nazis or national socialists of that caliber in Vermont.

In keeping with the principles of free speech, they are allowed to do these things. This generally does very little to increase their credibility with the public, and they are generally seen as a sad, deluded lot. The police ignore them as long as they don't cause any trouble.

Not really. We don't really have gay processions here, since we see that as far too trivial to be worth having a procession over. To propose such a thing pretty much marks you as an odd foreigner and gets you strange stares. A gay procession is regarded as being about as absurd and non-controversial as a bread sing-along.
