Introduction
On behalf of the Fraglord himself, we at the the Department of Commerce and Travel would like to welcome you to our great nation! While we are certain that you are a busy individual, with a great deal to do and see, we ask that you review this guide before leaving port facilities...be they space, air, or sea! You are welcome to just jump right into G4m3r society feet first if you like, but it is not recommended. This guide will provide an overview of our customs, laws, and various idiosyncrasies which may not be immediately apparent upon entering the nation.
The Nation Itself
The Rogue Nation of 1337 G4m3r5 is situated on the main landmass of the North American Continent. Prior to the founding of our nation, a small number of loosely affiliated states known as the United States of America existed on the landmass, subsequent to the G4m3r Revolution in the early 1800s the nation was dissolved. The various states each went their own way, and our nation was founded in the Northwestern coastal areas. By the 1900's a combination of aggressive annexation, and land purchases unified the formerly independent states into the nation that currently exists.
As a continent spanning nation we lay claim to many climates, from the Floridian swamps infested with G4t0rz and Zombies...to the windswept deserts of the southwest, with their many...many...claims of UFO encounters. Perhaps the most iconic environment of our nation is our coastal capital, New Racoon City.
Located on the estuary where the Sacramento and San Joaquin rivers empty into the ocean, New Racoon City is a prosperous port and the glittering jewel of our nation. Founded in the late-1700s by missionaries, New Raccoon city would rapidly grow in response to the discovery of gold on the west coast. By the 1900s it would be a booming city known for ostentatiousness and style. Today it serves not only as our capital city, but also our primary port on the Pacific coast, with nearly 70% of all yearly imports and exports passing through.
