Zahrah is really a mixture of several nations and my own mind >:)

Government: Based on that of Jordan.

Military: Zahrah has a small defence force used for, uh, defence. It is semi-well equipped, using western technology as well as older soviet tech. (My own input)

Social: Iran (The people). The people of Zahrah are very much like the people of Iran, Intelligent and socially liberal. The only difference is that in Zahrah they don't have an oppressive government breathing down their necks...

Economic: Turkey/Iran.

More so science fiction titles, in which after making my nation, I realized I subconsciously stole from...

Terminator and the Matrix trilogies being the large ones though...

None specifically, but it probably has the biggest resemblence to Northern Europe (politically) and New Zealand (geographically).

Imagine the Principality of Sealand (micronation which I am using the flag of) then United Kingdom. Then think of small cars, buildings and stuff. Peel P50 and Trident are popular in the nation.

The only thing that CL is based on is that the country's shape is the same as Russia's, and cities/towns are largely named after places in Britain or Ireland.
Please note: Central Lothian is the direct successor to Mid Lothian*. As a result, I am still called Rebecca, I am still a Grammar Nazi and most information pertaining to ML also applies to CL (although I will be taking this time to change a few things).

* - And I may refer to the country as Mid Lothian. If I do, assume that I mean Central Lothian. (And not to be confused with "Midlothian" - I'm using that as a fascist version of CL.)

Cenetra isn't explicitly based off of any particular nation, but is loosely based on various European nations. My most common sources for "guideline" statistics are the USA, Germany, and Sweden.
