Everyone gains the same rights equally over time. However, children are classified as livestock here, not people.

Marians don't believe in the concept of human rights in traditional sense, at least when inalienable rights come into picture. For a right to exist, it must be backed by some authority (law, brute force, etc.), and there is no earthly authority that couldn't be overridden by some means. (Divine authority is a spiritual concept, and Marians prefer not to mix it in secular affairs) Therefore, if no authority is completely immune to failure or override, there can be no inalienable rights.

Marians only begin to speak of rights at the age of 21, when most youngsters have earned themselves a citizenship, which is a very real body of rights backed up by the very real authority of state. As far as the rights of a citizen are concerned, men and women are treated equally before law. Non-citizens have no rights before law - they are subject to the "law of common sense", in other words, treated the way any human being would want to be treated himself.

Everyone is born with equal rights, some are later granted or revoked with age or actions but there is no distinction between male and female until over 10, anyway.

The AIs under D-16's rule are certainly not all equal. Some are more functional and have more "work" to do, whilst others do menial jobs such as turret controlling. Rule of thumb, the more work an AI does, the more powerful in the caste system they are. As all AIs are merely projections of a higher AI, this is always the case, as the higher AI has to work all of the smaller AI's jobs technically...

Only white males with vast amounts of property and wealth are able to vote and hold office. So yes.

Everyone is unequal in Greater Kallipolis in terms of their rights. Your rights depend both on your status and caste, with different castes having different rights, and the ruling class having the least rights of all.

You are born with the social standing and class of your parents,if your parents are of different social standing then you may have a choice of which social group you wish to be associated with. The lower your standing, the less rights you have. You may move up the social latter the same way you would be promoted in the military or a corporation(One of the members of a higher social class recognizes your potential and then "promotes" you.) As for gender,Men and Women have the same rights.

Yes, all citizens are equal under Crown law. However, it is up to the individual what they do with it, we are not in the habit of coddling or holding peoples hands for them.

Its confusing in Lotrabme, mainly for the reason that you can be born into a different class, such as the nobility and have access to political power more easily (not to say that you can because of course there are non noble politicians) BUT the class system is non existant to the Sages court of law and the lower circuits, all are equal in the court of law, except for the three deities, for they are the law. Everyone essentially is born with the same rights and laws, and believe me when I say, laws are pretty lax in Lotrabme, vacation here whenever you like  :D

Foreigners do not get rights. And our women do not have the same rights as men, but they are not oppressed like they would be in other countries.

Many of those "other countries" actually treat women equally, so...yeah.

Women are considered slightly less equal...but not much. the really unequal ones are slaves - they don't get any rights whatsoever
