If he was talking about using swords and not camo you should at the very least check his sig. I assumed he was MT until he started talking about archers and swords.

Our military does not utilize camouflage, as that raises the prices of all our issued equipment and armor. Soldiers are taught to create their own camouflage to adapt to the various environments they may fight in, and uniforms are provided alongside requisition forms for military-grade cloth paint, allowing the soldier to buy specific colored paint for whatever battlefield he will be fighting in. Camouflage patterns are also augmented with items taken from the environment (for example, forest troops utilize mud, branches, and twigs) to make the look more complete.

My soldiers camouflage systems , depending on their role on the battlefield can vary dramatically. From nano(stealth) suits for recon elements to power armor that rivals that of Warhammer. Camouflage patterns are generally reserved for those who are meant to assault a target instead of stealth operations in my armed forces.

However the wide scale use of ground forces is overshadowed by Naval(space) fleets that can simply annihilate most ground targets with orbital bombardment. Camo wont save you from a base delta zero.
