Ok I had an idea, instead of keeping it to a few nations and people that now how to make flags. I will teach any nation or person willing to try, to make basic flags, and show them some software they can use.

Because I want to try to learn how to make flags from scratch – all of those flags I showed you, I just used other flags and altered the colors and minor parts in design. There are a few questions I have about flag-making as well, so I decided to join in anyway.

To answer your question, first I would give some basic lessons of Gimp, and what it can do, then we would start out very baisc, like line flags and stuff, then how to change colors, then layers, then smoothing. I have a lot of stuff, most of it very basic.

cool i've been makeing flags on Paint they come out good but i need better Detail

I suggest checking out Paint.NET as well, as far as image editors go. I found it much more intuitive than GIMP.
