Introduction
The Incorporated States of Nexodus Calx began as a megalomaniacal scientific project with the aim to propel research. Inspired by CERN a group of scientists developed the idea to found a town exclusively inhabitated by scientists and their staff. Styx Corporation, Calx Research Facilities and Lombard Microtechnologies supported this idea and marketed it as an opportunity to do groundbreaking and effective research- while the town itself was a massive controlled environment for a social experiment. Especially dictators invested in the project. The town had the name of the project: Nexodus. While the main aims were to bring Molecular Biologists and Engineers together in order to focus on the potentials of interdisciplinary research, it also demanded to be a self-sustaining environment. A secondary aim was to create an own space program from scratch, using the tons of materials provided and the raw resources of Nexodus' ground.
Since the project was a secret for the general populace and the nature of the town was isolationist not much is known what happened after. Only some sociologic protocols leaked in the early years, showing developments in research, as well as the social tensions. It seems that the scientists were planning a government exclusively for the research "facility", in order to solve problems more effectively in accordance to the principles of the projects' outline.
Seven years later, in 2035, Styx Corporation and Lombard Microtechnologies declared Nexodus as a project gone rogue. Calx Research Facilities moved its assts in favour of the project completely to Nexodus before this happened and does, therefore, not exist anymore.
Geography
Nexodus Calx was build as a single massive building of the size of a town. Below the ground we expect an elaborate system of tunnels, vaults, and "sub-cities". This is likely as we assume that Nexodus Calx had to drill into the ground early to get additional resources. Nexodus Calx is located somewhere in Siberia and is still growing like a cancer.
Economy
It is known that Nexodus Calx incorporates massive amounts of raw materials and has the necessary facilities to process them in anything they need. The project was said to be self-sustaining. Imagine this town as a pulsing, never sleeping hive with large heavy industry areas, and one or two hidden nuclear reactors. It is known that Nexodus is recycling effectively and collects, besides of the reactors, energy by means of solar energy and earth warmth. It is expulsing highly toxic fumes from time to time- though it is a minimal waste product for a populace of over 5 million. Note that early protocols report of stunning biotopes inside of the city- we therefore assume that the environment is relatively healthy.
We know that N.C. is self-sustaining, but we also think that it lacks a true economy. Money does not exist- a rare form of it is credits- which is only used to co-ordinate the resources of large-scale projects. There is neither rich nor poor in the populace- although we expect that high government officials have still a higher living-standard than the average scientist.

Military
Every single Nexodian was trained rigoriously for half a year. Some choose to become soldiers professionally. Soldiers are highly respected, well trained and always have at least one major and one minor speciality. The size of the professional army is not very exorbitant, though. Per new legislation Nexodus Calx is not allowed to carry important and/or dangerous technology outside of Nexodian territories. Only the Nexodian Pioneers and the Military Police Forces as well as some supporting vehicles can enter the theater of war, as they are equipped with foreign technology. The Board of Warfare has the right to temporarily ignore this legislation in times of dire need!
Government
Nexodus Calx has a communistic technocracy- falsely mocked as a corrupt governemnt- don't listen to those pesky folks!
Diplomatic messages are signed with "Prime Consciousness Calx" or "The Order (/Council) of Styx".
People and Population
Although Nexodus Calx has a high percentage of people being scientists and a very elaborate education system, we expect that it isn't a (micro)nation that exclusively consists of scientists and simple staff members. Somehow they re-trained the former staff. Some even say that the robotics research proved to be useful in laborious or difficult works. Indeed bloggers of other nations mock Nexodus as an AI controlled robot town- which is just ridiculous.
Philosophy
Nexodians work together as they want to attain one aim. We are not sure what this is- probably not the space program. The nation is an oppressed one: highly indoctrinated, but nevertheless (or therefore) like-minded. Nexodians are self-disciplined, not religious, cynic, logic, efficient... and well... boring.

The Incorporated States of Nexodus Calx is a tiny, environmentally stunning nation, notable for its compulsory military service. Its compassionate, hard-working, cynical population of 9 million are ruled by a mostly-benevolent dictator, who grants the populace the freedom to live their own lives but watches carefully for anyone to slip up.
The enormous, corrupt government juggles the competing demands of Law & Order, Defence, and Commerce. Citizens pay a flat income tax of 26%. A very small private sector is dominated by the Furniture Restoration industry.
Organ donation rates have hit a new low, elections have been outlawed, employers may fire workers without giving any reason, and bicyclists are banned from major roads. Crime is a problem. Nexodus Calx's national animal is the Ant, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests, and its currency is the Credit.

Nexodus Calx is now a prospering Iron Fist Consumerist State, controlled by Prime Consciousness. We invested in Education and Defense. Thanks to our Cybernetic research and our heavy investments in our quality-army, we now nearly doubled our armed Forces and included a massive amount of robotic units to support our Army in times of struggle. Thanks to our Space Program we now have 34 Military Satellites and Orbital Stations of varied scales. For Science!
3rd official report:
The Prime Analyst of the Board for Internal Police Forces gave a 10 million Nexodus Production Credit order (equals around 500 million NSD)to Lyran Arms, to equip the new Military Police Forces with arms and armored vehicles. The amount of fluid credits for the Police was estimated at 12m NPC. Furthermore a 2 thousand men strong Rapid Response branch of the military Police was formed, equipped with CubeTech armory. For the Military Police specifically 300 ambulance vehicles were ordered.
Prime Executioner of the Diplomatic Board Kallistrate and Prime Analyst Read of the Board for foreign Affairs currently attend the "Peace Summit" to discuss matters of higher importance. It is the first time since 30 years that N.C. opened its gates to enter global trade and to discuss global policies.
