We declare ourselves totally independent and sovereing from the United States of America and hereby form the Federation of Midwest Treaty Compact Nations. The following states, now nation states declare their freedom from the United States of America and do hereby announce that they are singers of the Midwest Treaty Compact.
The nation states that are signers are: Illinois, Iowa, Indiana, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota. Missouri , Nebraska , North Dakota , Ohio , South Dakota and Winsconsin. As signers of the Midwest Treaty Compact we independent, soverieng nations do hereby declare we shall:

1) Mutually defend each other against aggression by hostile nations
2) Favorably trade with each other with no tarriffs
3) Adhere to the Revised Midwest Federation Counstitution
4) Support civil rights as defined by the Revised Midwest Federation Bill of Rights

Each of the twelve Midwest Treaty Compact nations are independent in internal affairs. However, we pledge our lives, our honor and our fortune to the perpetuation of Midwest culture and the Libertarian political philosophy the Midwest Treaty Compact advocates. We shall work together to safeguard, defend and promote the beliefs and philosophical perspective we as Midwest nations hold to.
By mutual agreement, the capital of the Federation shall be Des Moines, Iowa

Though, in our long and secluded history, the Shanix people have known the United States to be both a vengeful nation, and at the same time, an revolting one, politically speaking of course. However, we do not pass up an opportunity to oppose a nation that has tried many-a-time to claim Shanix as territory. We know what the people of the USA are thinking at this moment. It is more than likely the United States will attempt to take The FMTCN and return it under United States' control.

We wish to help. As a nation 7 times the size of the United States (population wise), we can and will protect you. Both in alliance, and by equipping and training your military, if you accept. All you need do is set up an embassy on Shanix territory. We look forward to the further relations between our nations,

We gratefully accept. We are indeed fearful of the United States trying to impose their will on the peace loving peoples of the Federation of Modwest Treaty Compact Nations. All twelve nations that make up the Federation have pledged to avoid forieng entanglements and have no ill will to the United States. However, we are forming a Unified Federation Armed Forces, consisting of recruits drawn from the twelve signature member nations of the Midwest Treaty Compact.
We most certainly would like to open diplomatic relations. Our goal, as a Federation is to be friends to all and to encourage peaceful trade.
