The government has narrowed the choices down to 4, and would like to know the world's opinion on the four, and which is the best.
Flag 1 - The H-Alban Banner

Incorporating the traditional style of the two colours on top and bottom, with the new Tree of Life, this flag reflects the past of H-Alba, with a updated style. The green stripe represents the environmental policies of the Green Republic, and the red represents the Gaelic Culture and Language of H-Alba.
Flag 2 - The Unity Banner

This Bicoloured flag shows a modern outlook on H-Alba, with the updated tree of life in the centre. The Bicolour background represents a unity of the Gaelic (Red) and the English Speaking Minority (White) in times that are hard for both groups.
Flag 3 - The Future Banner

This flag incorporates the traditional style of flags in H-Alba, with the two coloured stripes on the top and bottom. The flag is nearly the same as the first flag, apart from colour representation. The red stripe represents the Gaelic Culture and Language of H-Alba, while the yellow stripe represents the military past of H-Alba, but the peaceful and optimistic future of the nation.
Flag 4 - The Nova-Royal banner

The final "new" flag is identical to the Royal Banner (the Current Flag in usage), apart from the Tree of Life. The Tree of Life has been updated to the new design. The Green Strip represents the environment, and the gold strip represents the people of the nation. (See below for original meaning behind the colours)
The Royal banner

The Royal Banner, the second flag of H-Alba first used in 1874 to 1995, and then again in 2011 has become recognisable for the people of H-Alba. The Traditional Tree of Life, a symbol for the Druid's of H-Alba of the interconnectedness of everything in the world, is the main symbol in this flag, though the colours have meaning behind them as well. The Green originally represented the Gaelic Culture of the nation, and the yellow represented the Royal Family. (See above for modern representation)
