Today the Royal Ministry of Transportation announced plans to spend 150,000,000 Arlings ($275,000,000 USD) to build passenger rail system in the Kingdom which will link rails between France, Switzerland, and Germany. Currently, passenger rail only connects with Italy's passenger rails.

Of the rails proposed, 25% of them will be capable of handling France's TGV trains.

The Yoshi Slavery Act was repealed by the emperor today, meaning that yoshi slavery is currently semi-legal, until the emperor finishes writing the New Yoshi Mandate, which is expected to replace all current yoshi-related laws.it is also hoped that the Mandate will make doing actions with Yoshi citizens much easier, for both the public and the government. Loriquo's second in command, Ekau Larekho, has taken power provisionally- however, protests have already broken out due to Larekho's unpopularity, demanding an election now.
There is much speculation over the upcoming election; Larekho intended to run, though lacked the public support, whilst James Monnauu, an elusive politician and popular critic of Loriquo, announced last week that he did not intend to run following Loriquo's health concerns. It is likely that Soko Zeutr, currently the third-in-command, will face an independent candidate.

It is widely believed that Dr. James Barnum will replace him. Barnum was the Deputy Ambassador to Federalist Rome. He is Serving as the current Ambassador.
