The area now known as the GSD began as a nation known simply as Dazchan. Dazchan split into two many years ago, the Irate State of Northern Dazchan and the State of Dazchan. The two nations eventually rejoined to become the modern nation, the Glorious State of Dazchan.

At no time has the GSD or historical Dazchan been part of a non-Dazchaonian nation.

It is commonly believed that Leepaidamba is a successor of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, which fell apart during a series of global disasters though admittedly not everything is certain. It appears that Leepaidamba is made up of mostly parts of the former provinces Gelderland and Flevoland and small parts of Overijssel and Limburg. Somehow there was also a border in the west to a province called Utrecht but there we have only found a large semi-freshwater lake though the current theory is that the land was actually transported away and placed into the sea of the coast of Zeeland.

We were once part of Spain before our nation was founded and during the Sucession Crisis in the 17th century where we ( unfortunately ) crowned a Spanish/Portuguese King. This lasted for about 10 years.

So heres the deal: Unlike in RL, Khodoristan is located on a massive landmass the size of Australia located in the Pacific Ocean. First settled by Native Khodorans (direct descendants of Hawaiians), the island was officially settled by the British in 1662 at Youngstown, Terunda Province. The British found it hostile to live in due to the constant warfare with the natives, so further attepmts to settle the area were not acheived. Fast forward to 1865. The US wins the Civil War. Lincoln gets killed, just like in RL, but his successor, Andrew Johnson, decides to exile former Confederates to the Khodoran island. Though they wanted to rename the new nation "Jeffersonia", they later settled on "Khodoristan", due in part to the slang term for natives that was spoken amongst Russian refugees.

146 years later, Khodoristan has a population of 4.3 billion, a GDP of 182 trillion, a per capita GDP of USD $63,000, the world's largest military, and the world's premiere democratic society.

Part of the original GDI in the TIberian 'Verse (Mostly UK with North East Coast US),and a freak warp brought a goodly part of the population to a new AU planet were we have commenced with Standard Operations. Took a while to find our feet,but once we did,we found the Alts liked employing us as mercenaries in their many wars. We have proceeded takeover in the generations since,and without Tiberium have taken up the new eradication of war through war as our primary objective.
