Woo! Necroposting! Ruzilia began as a Moorish colony which was then conquered by a Spanish colony. Then Spain ruled all of the continent until other Europeans took over half of it. Then it was independent for about a single year until it was entirely taken over by Britain and France. About eighty years later it managed to become independent again and since then, all of the continent has at least de jure been independent.

The modern Rohendian state is descended from the Jewish state of Sion, which in turn seceded from a Germanic colony. Sion merged with its Slavic, Japanese, and Anglo-Dutch colonial neighbors over the 19th century to form the Rohendian Confeceracy.

The Great Fleet is comprised of the descendants of millions of refugees who fled a global supervolcanic winter. The bulk of them came from the Imperial Federation of Kororona, which was at the epicenter of the eruption and therefore suffered from it the worst. Its government collapsed entirely in the aftermath, and so the Fleet is often considered to be the primary Kororonese successor state, though it is considerably more multiethnic than and very politically dissimilar to its predecessor.

Dathiri was previously an uninhabited (and uninhabitable) planet within the Uvanshan League, a massive confederacy which controlled nearly 10% of the galaxy. It was terraformed due to the presence of Thirium, but later became a penal colony of the Uvanshan League. However, the Uvanshan League mysteriously fell three decades ago, and thus, Dathiri became free.

The Roman Republic totes its history as being entirely self-written and in the hands of the Roman identity, never claiming to be a part of a greater polity. However, the legend of Rome's origins lying with the Trojans of Anatolia still lingers.

The Ivory Coasts have never been entirely colonized by another nation. Its westernmost coastline was home to various port cities ceded to Europeans, but were retaken during the 20th century
