As you attack, Anemos Major uses the ability 'Disregard Grammatical Errors', on Morlago's attack by Lyras. The effects of the attack, which would otherwise deal 9 damage to Falkasia, for the knockout, are ignored, and Falkasia remains on 7 defence points. Note, only the effects of the attack are ignored. Thus, Morlago's Lyras remains on 1 point of defence.

Might just draw a gamemaster's attention to this, to make sure all is kosher... before I continue...

In this circumstance, no. No points of damage are dealt. The card is simply removed from play. As a corollary, the title of the ability is 'masterful negotiations', a phrase which doesn't imply damage of any sort.

The ability used removes a card from play, but does not deal damage. IIRC, it also does not confer Influence, but I'll need to ask for a second opinion on that.

Places Sskiss (7/7) in Nation Slot 1
Symphonia uses All Hail Symphonia on Red Tidean Union, dealing 3 Damage and 1 to itself
Sskiss uses Pack Tactics on Red Tidean Union, dealing 1 Damage
Reminds that Falkasia in Nation Slot 5 may not attack for 1 more turn (legality check: does ability continue to have effect even after nation is discarded?)

Draw Lyras (E) (9/9)
Move Red Tidean Union (M) (6/6) from Slot 1 to Safe Zone 2
Activate Red Tidean Union's ability 'Vast Reserves', conferring +2 defence to all friendly cards in play, save itself.
Play Lyras (E) (9/9) from Hand to Slot 1.
Lyras increases from (9/9) to (11/11), due to the effects of 'Vast Reserves'.
Noting that Symphonia's ability (All nations in play have no resistance) is still in effect.
Lyras uses ability 'Mobilization', swapping total defence for base precision strike, temporarily reducing its defence to 1.
Lyras attacks Sskiss with precision strike, doing 11 points of damage, for the knockout.
Falkasia in Slot 3 attacks Symphonia with 'Orbital Precision Strike' dealing 2 damage.
Anemos Major is Slot 2 attacks Symphonia with 'Minor Military Mobilisation', dealing 2 damage.
Anemos Major in Slot 4 attacks Symphonia with 'Minor Military Mobilisation', dealing 2 damage for the knockout.

Mokastana: Then Lyras happened.

Allanea: Wanting to avoid fighting Lyras' fuck-huge military is also a reasonable IC consideration

TPF: Who is stupid enough to attack a Lyran convoy?

Sumer: Honestly, I'd rather face Doom's military with Doom having a 3-1 advantage over me, than take a 1-1 fight with a well-supplied Lyran tank unit.

Kinsgard: RL Lyras is like a real life video game character.

Ieperithem: Eighty four. Eighty four percent of their terrifyingly massive GDP goes directly into their military. And they actually know how to manage it. It's safe to say there isn't a single nation that could feasibly stand against them if they wanted it to die.
Yikes. Just... Yikes.

*shakes hand*
Thank you, indeed, for a well-fought game, Morlago. It was a nearer-run thing than it may appear.
