There are tons of other nations out there with a more solid and established IC setting; Questers, Knootoss, Pacitalia, Van Luxemburg, Lyras, etc. being just some examples of these well-established nations IC'ly.

Questers is actually a pretty shitty place, and Lyras is also pretty shitty. The former is racist, poor, and has an eternal war with Doom, the latter is a barracks state.

Of the nations still around, I'd say Saurisia, The Kangaroo Republic, Sibirskiy, Maraque, Vortiaganica, Commerce Heights and Sunset are all good candidates. Perhaps Swilatia (though Swilatia's RP seems confined to WorldVision) and Cachette De Lions could possibly be considered too.

By solid and established IC setting, i did not mean the "best", which exclusively defined as all rosy society, far-reaching social welfare and education coverage, liberal democratic structure and societal establishment;

No, you misinterpreted what i meant.

The reason i put those individuals there was due to the fact that they were just some examples of individuals which have figured out largely what they wanted with their nation-state and its society in general. Such was the in-depth knowledge and ideas of their nation, that they have established a solid IC precedence and sure knowledge of it. Sure, there is never a stop. But these individuals; especially Knot and Lyras, of which i knew without a doubt, knows what their society is and how it functions.

Then again, we will have to go back to the simple, initial first question. When you decided to interjected me here... what did you look upon towards the OP...? By best, did you thought of: Best = Goodie democracy and all-perfect society.

If thats what you was thinking, then yes; you do have a point, i believe.

Guys, I honestly don't know who the "best" NationStates nation would be. It's such a subjective topic that really you could make a case for anyone. I'm not going to give any long elaborate cases as to why I think they're the best, and sure there'll always be a bit of favoritism involved. Jenrak is definitely one of the best all around nations in the game, bar none. Automagfreek and Lyras are two of the best militarily, and then people like ViZion and Anagonia-Yohannes have incredible storefronts. Amazonian Beasts is the only FT Roleplayer I know who can create roleplaying franchises, and Storm Gard and Ozymos are two of the most honorable and respectable gents I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. And of course, there's a whole range of nations that are still in the beginning stages that will make their mark on the game one day: your nations like Milograd, -Deus-, Tergnitz, and the ilk.

Those nations are the ones who I would put up at the top of the list, personally.

However...

As a "friendly warning" to everyone else here. Just know that I don't plan on sitting idle for long. I'm going to bust ass to improve myself, to train myself up, to make myself more versatile and more influential as a writer. I'm going to pump out material that will make your head spin over the next few years. And I'm gonna do it faster, longer, and better than anyone else. I love all you guys, you're my friends, and I have infinite respect for you.

Just know that I'm coming. Whether there's room enough at the top for myself plus you guys... that's your call.
