If we spot the alien fleet soon enough, we'll have Shockwave turn into a WMD-scale laser cannon and wipe it out.

If it reaches Cybertron, we'll swarm up and destroy it. Since all of our civilians are heavily-armed, they'll join in the fray. The aliens could look forward to the entire population counterattacking. Once we deleted their fleet, we'd find their planet and genocide them into oblivion so they could never even attempt to attack us again - because there would no longer be any "them" to do the attacking.

If they try to take our mining and oil-drilling planet - Earth - they'll initially only face a few troops and will likely be fooled into thinking they have it made. Then the rest of the Decepticon Military will arrive en masse from the Space Bridge and slaughter them in a devastating surprise attack. After that, we'll genocide them as above to make sure they can't mount any further attempts to take our territory.

As for the WA, if they get involved - which is unlikely - it'd probably be to try to stop us from carrying out the massively-disproportionate retribution previously described. Any WA interlopers will be blasted out of the way like gnats as we find necessary. We're sure they wouldn't be there to help us even while we were still defending; self-righteous clods like that are never actually GOOD for anything.

this has happened exactly once in the history of lananara, the planet on which cameroi is situated. lananara's federation is a member of a federation of multi-world/system federations representing the entire galaxy. there are of course worlds that go rogue. we were, as mentioned, attacked in this manor exactly once. the invaders were contained and rehabilitated within less then a year of their initial foray.

they were not push overs, they were not unprepared. its just that neither were we. cameroi and the rest of lananara, have been space fairers for many generations. our latent military reserves, which include nearly everyone, but certainly recently trained students nearing graduation from lower schools, recently graduated and on pujzush, and in their first five years of upper school, quickly rose to the occasion, as did their latent command structure. large scale stunner and energy beam excavators were quickly pressed into service. every effort was made to spare casualties on all sides. many of the invaders unfortunately fell from their craft from too high to survive, while many others starved wandering lost in our forests, their minds unhinged by the dreams and illusions which are the natural defense of our national animal.

all in all, the majority were rounded up and reeducated. most had never imagined such a culture as our own to be possible, and even less, to withstand such an assault as theirs.

It's happened once before in our past. We simply accepted our position as slaves until weaknesses appeared in the alien's empire. We exploited these to drive out the aliens (their empire was massive and, thus, politically unstable, meaning their hold on our nation quickly began weakening) and enforce our independence upon our lands. We would contaminate the whole world with nukes and chemical weapons and melt the polar Ice caps.....and give those alien AssHoles nothing of the earth.

We would also move 100-thousand survivors and scientists (hide) in 1mile deep bunkers until the radiation is all gone and land masses have started forming again after hundreds of years.

our plan is designed for a multinational response but can be modified for situations where only one country is willing or able to make a stand. it requires first reacting and battling any incoming hostile craft and intercepting any reported ground forces. the primary goal is research and study or alien technology, tactics and biology. reverse enginering the technology to provide new technology to fight back against the invaders and hopefully turning the tides against the hostile forces.

Yeah, well we only succeeded cause the aliens were stupid enough to let it turn into a ground invasion. Plot device to make humanity win. personally, if i were the invading alien i would just grab an asteroid from the mars-jupiter asteroid field and drop it onto earth. Kaboom. All defenders dead, war won in one post. Just isn't interesting to end it that way.

TurtleShroomer citizens would probably flee their homes and businesses and cower in the churches praying to God for help. The government would immediately discuss the most effective way to nuke the aliens without nuking TurtleShroom.

A one-creature dispatch would meet the aliens and try to establish diplomatic contact with them.
If the aliens are peaceful, the missionaries and goodwill would begin as TurtleShroom slowly tried to welcome the aliens to their world, and eventually send them away without hurting anyone.
If the aliens are warmongerers, as they most likely are, cue the military and the war and every citizen getting their guns and fighting for their nation.

Since all of our civilians are heavily-armed, they'll join in the fray. The aliens could look forward to the entire population counterattacking.

^ Although it's eerie that the Holy Republic would side with the Decepticons, that's about how it would be... -but with more hicks. (Sometimes, being a Right-Wing Utopia has its advantages.)

The WA couldn't do a thing. For the GAR, we'd immediately organize a counter-attack using chemical and biological weapons. Cluster bombs and incendiaries will also be used in built-up residential areas. Of course this would put civilians lives at risk but war is war. Punishment battalions comprising of political criminals will be used as suicide bombers against the aliens. Of course, the ultimate goal is to capture a few specimens and dissect them to check for any weaknesses we can use.
