How does the the overall society view them? Automobiles make up part of the Britishmancestrian culture; they're a huge part of it. Do not slag off automobiles, or, for that matter motorcycles here, it's considered offensive; unlike constructive criticism. Electric cars are not that common, or popular, yet.

At present, there only about 180 personal vehicles in Radictistan for every 1000 residents. The low national income level precludes a higher automobile ownership rate. Radictistani automobiles tend to be built with economy in mind over all other considerations, with the exception of those vehicles bound for the luxury market. There is very little regulation of automobile usage. Drivers have to be licensed and are required to have a token amount of liability insurances, although those provisions only apply when one is driving on a public road. Most Radictistanis aspire to own a car at some point in their lives, but their isn't any kind of national "car culture." Motor vehicles are seen as tools, not symbols.

Most cities of note in Radictistan have an extensive system of buses and trams. Some larger cities have full grade-separated heavy rail systems. Most Radictistanis depend on public transit for their daily commute and much of their other travel.
