There is no economy whatsoever in D-16. Where caste systems would be because of money, is now inhabitated by how high you are to the political top of of the ladder. D-16, in this case, wouldn't need "money" in the first place if it were present...

President Eden works towards the bettering of his nation and the welfare of his people, this is all the payment he needs. If you mean monetary other than moral however, the Presidential Salary is $75,000 USD (United States Dollars) a year; and yes, he pays taxes.

He is the head of the Royal Family, technically, all taxes go to the king, however, he is required to pay all government employees and to use over a third of his payment on the states.

HRH King Whirnak is not an employee of the state, and therefore does not receive a salary. He did earn $534.6 million after income taxes and charitable contributions in 2010, though.

The President is paid $340,000 Gretonian dollars an year, he is exempt from all federal taxes and sales taxes. Though do to current economical issues the Congress is debating lowering his salary and making him be included on federal taxes, which would be the first time in 120 years.

Our regin is paid enough for himself and his family to be quite well off, and both he and the jarls set their own pay. This works out better than most may expect, since folks see their politicians on a regular basis, and very little goes under the radar. They also have the utmost respect of the nation, which is often worth more than steinar.

The Diarchs reside in a palace with everything they need. A Ç100,000 (appx. $150,000) allowance is granted for clothes, food, and other personal items per year.
When a Diarch leaves office he is given an estate fully paid off, a car of his choosing, a 4 man security team, and Ç59,500 per year for the rest of his life - the average income of a Calmerican citizen.

The Dictator of Frostaland isn't paid. He should find himself a normal job like everyone else. Great example of that is ex-dictator Zenon Łukasiewicz. He's a leader of a rock band, and CEO of Łukasiewicz Armaments, that produces the Frostaland's main pistol: Ł-11.
