Gay Marriage is abolished.
Dragonkinian to Mammalian Non-Human Marriages are illegal.
Humans may only marry another Human, doing otherwise is illegal in Ruskarkand.

However,
Dragonkinian's are not limited to just their species, if they wish to, they may marry another Reptillian Non-Human.

It is mandatory to be over 20 to get married.

Legally, we here in Sacra Terra have two kinds of marriages: Arranged and unarranged.

Arranged marriages (legal from 15+ years) are arranged by politically influential families of the individuals in question and (minus for male homosexuality) are pretty unregulated.

Unarranged marriages are formed by consent of the individuals in question and are legal from 18+ years. The laws explicitly forbid homosexual unarranged marriages.

Patoranians in long-term romantic relationships, who want to make a permanent, formal legal commitment to one another, have two options: they can either seek civil marriage, which is open to any two to five people of any sex, or what's called a permanent civil partnership, which is also open to any two to five people of any sex, and has more or less the same rights, but has different cultural associations. There are two major legal differences between the statuses: first, marriages, but not civil partnerships, require solemnization within a (generally secular) ceremony to be valid, and second, marriages, but not civil partnerships, are presumptively sexual and so are subject to Patoran's incest restrictions.

Patoran has no-fault divorce. Annulments can happen when the entry conditions for marriage were not met: for instance, where one party was defrauded, or was underage.

Similar to the united Kingdom, except that same sex marriages are legal and civil partnerships of all forms have the same rights as a marriage.

What are the laws on marraige/annulment in your nation?

The laws of marriage are pretty simple.

Two consenting adults (or young people with parental consent) may get married via the government's recognition, or if accepted by their local religious institution and recognized as such by the state and the Holy See. We do not distinguish between gender, so long as both parties are of legal consenting age marriage is legal.

1. Both parties must be over 21 years of age.
2. Gay marriage is legal.
3. Mandatory blood tests for STDs. Prospective partners will be made aware of positive results, but positive results do not automatically prohibit marriage.
4. Couples must wait 14 days after filing for marriage license to wed.
5. Divorce, in most cases, may be granted after 6 months legal separation. In cases of spousal abuse the 6 month waiting period is waived.

Marriage is recognized as a unity between two consenting individuals over the age of 18 (or 16-17 with parental consent). Usually, blood tests must be taken before marriage. Divorce is legal.

What are the laws on marraige/annulment in your nation?

In New Lyrane, marriage is between two consenting adults who are neither already married to someone else nor too closely related to each other. Divorce may be filed for jointly or by one partner. It is normally granted after a six month period of trial separation.

Marriage per se is not recognized but marriage-like economic arrangements between individuals are not restricted by sex or number of participants. They must be 18 years old or 14 with parental consent though. Any ceremonies by individuals or organizations are at their own discretion.

There is no official recognition of marriage in Rascotlandia and it formally does not exist. However, individuals are, of course, permitted to perform marriage ceremonies if they want to.

Any two consenting adults can marry. Marriage consists of two individuals signing a certificate that says they are married. The certificate is kept on file in the county clerk's office and the whole process costs about 10 USD. No blood test or STD screening is required.

In order to get a divorce, the process is exactly the same as marriage, except the certificate says that the marriage is annuled. No reason has to be given for a divorce.

We only have three rules regarding marriages:

1 - They are both over 18.
2 - They aren't already married.
3 - They aren't immediately related to each other.

* - And I may refer to the country as Mid Lothian. If I do, assume that I mean Central Lothian. (And not to be confused with "Midlothian" - I'm using that as a fascist version of CL.)

Only marriages between persons of the opposite sex are legally recognized. Both parties to the marriage must have freely consented, and have the legal capacity to contract.

Bigamy and polygamy are illegal, so you cannot marry while married to another person.

A marriage is considered legal when registered with the court clerk. The marriage may be registered the 2nd day following the day that the application was made. Most people choose to have a religious ceremony, although these are not considered legally binding.

Minimum age to marry is 18, though persons as young as 16 may marry with special permission from the court.

You cannot marry a sibling, or an aunt or uncle or neice or nephew (by half of whole blood) or an ancestor or decedent. It's OK to marry your 1st cousin, but if you marry your 1st cousin without knowing it you can have your marriage annuled provided that you were unaware of the relationship when the marriage was contracted, and there were no children born of the marriage. A marriage can also be annuled on grounds of duress, or diminished capacity.

Divorce may be granted on grounds of irreconciliable differences, which must be evidenced by physical or emotional abuse by one or both parties, or by the parties living separate and apart for at least 6 months.

Gay marriage is forbidden. The police is regularly monitoring this. Men and Women who marry pay 50% less taxes, but they should compensate the country if they divorce.
