The NSTCG Beta Cup!

The NSTCG Beta Cup will test out the mechanics of playing the NSTCG game in a modified format. It will cover Base Set 1.

Applications are Officially Closed!

The Tournament Bracket is up, with the player matches at:

All Participants, please telegram me your decklists ON REQUEST - tournament will begin once decklists have been received.

The tournament will be spanning over the next few weeks, pitting players against each other. Anybody can join with a preconstructed deck. For deck rulings and game rulings, please see the Main NSTCG thread here: viewtopic.php?f=23&t=118617

We (and when I say 'we', I mean 'me') are looking for those familiar with the game rules to Gamemaster other peoples' matches in the spirit of good and fair play.

Player applications will be open up until the end of next week, upon which people will be given player rankings and matched up against their opponents.

If and when you have a decklist, please post it in this thread, and then spoiler it. You may use any card within the format, up to the standard limit of 4 copies of an individual card. Please be mindful that if you do not participate for your matches, but sign up, you will be given a game loss and your score will be affected.

Yep, but in second base set. We'll be releasing basic decks for people to work with.

As discussed on the IRC, I'll sign on as Gamemaster. Working on mah deck now so I can enter as a player too. Printing out glorious card pages for examination. I'm assuming 20 card decks like the Betas?

I would like to participate in this, and also as I feel I'm more familiar with the rules then most, I will offer myself up as a game master unless there are any objections.

I hope it's okay if my deck is a little bit of a joke, since it's beta, but I think it is a joke deck that actually has some potential :
