Lego Blocks...due to genetic experiments gone wrong, mutated Lego Blocks took over the wild so they were adopted as the national animal. When ever they get out of hand, you can cull them and then stack them neatly on top of each other so they dont take up space.

Well, seriously... I chose the lion... nothing really fancy. And you've heard of the lion being King of the Beasts...

I second this. Lions are proud, mighty, and noble. They are honor and strength. Its a no brainer, like seriously, duh. :p

Originally the Raven, symbol of the province of Albrantes. Changed to bovine to stay inline with the issue of meat. I couldn't be eating ravens now could I?

in our religion(cylindism) the cylindrical giraffe was the first(and only) animal created by the great cylinder, 3 minutes after your god created earth, and 13.5 seconds before your god created giraffes. if he had created it 3 or 4 minutes earlier the earth would have been cylindrical and the dominant species would be cylindrical giraffes. that is why they are revered here

Rabbit of Caerbannog: Also known as the Killer Rabbit from Monty Python and the Holy Grail. I felt like choosing something ridiculous, but semi-seriously dangerous.

I chose blackbird because blackbird is an excellent Beatles reference. I considered walrus, but I decided to use it with my puppet, Lennon McCartney.
