They play "Baby," I ask for Mozart.

They play "Friday," I drop an Atomic F Bomb and maybe play Russian Roulette.

Censorship is illegal here, highly unconstitutional, and socially frowned upon. No, there are no illegal songs.

Heavy Metal, seen as a disgrace to music and decent taste, is banned for the most part. Any songs with unacceptable lyrics promoting sexual perversion, drugs, crime, the occult, etc. is illegal.

Essentially, this.

We don't ban ideological songs, as that just encourages people to sing it. Rebellious songs are co-opted as supporting the Revolution, etc. We prefer to embrace enemy media and disarm it thusly.

Spiritual Chrisitan/Jewish/etc. Music was banned by the former regime. Now Britney Spears, The Jonas Brothers, and Justin Biber are banned. They are a sign of western culture.

The only music we get here is a mixture of stuff breaking and the bawling and laughter of drunken people.
There is nothing there that could be banned.

No songs are officially banned, but some are suggested to be removed from the airwaves, due to the lack of respect for the government. Due to the fierce amount of nationalism in the Federation, this list is usually adhered to, but it isn't mandatory.

No songs are illegal. If a song threatens a nation, its people, and their ideals, something has gone very badly wrong in that nation. Songs are forms of entertainment. That is all.

Not yet, no, but noise pollution is. It is illegal in Deppreeve to go blasting it out to everyone whether they want to hear it or not.
Something like what those inconsiderate pricks do in RL when driving around in their cars, whilst playing their "music" at such a high volume that it just sounds like "thud thud thud" and little else.

If the song makes any reference to Freedom, Liberty, disparage the Government, or could be deem harmful by our Bishops, it is illegal

The Government of Namabia can only intercede if the songs are:

1. Racial
2. Violate child pornography laws
3. Attack an another nation, group, or religion
4. Cusses excessively(Only the State and Provincial governments have authority over this. The National Gov. does not.)

Otherwise the Namabian Congress, State & Provincial Assemblies, have no right over the media.

How can a song do number 2? It is an audio, not visual media...
