Those few who cannot afford healthcare or insurance are almost always covered by church or private charities.
Overall, we much prefer third-rate healthcare for everyone who wants it to first-rate healthcare for "everyone".

Well said. The Riyuil Assembly of Yvenia does not sponsor universal healthcare nor education, for doing so would threaten the integrity of the Yvenian Mark. Local villages decide on to whether pay for the costs of their clients or to have the client pay for medical treatments. Thus, only a few villages in Yvenia sponsor Chieftain-provided healthcare funds.

I gotta say it. First time I read through this, I could have sworn it said something like this:Dammit, and I got accused of tech-wanking for using megawatt-scale free electron laser CIWS on my (nuclear powered) vessels to block spam missiles!
I was like, "Who the hell are you fighting... or more importantly, was your lunch meat laced?"

Why did you do that? If you give 'em an inch, the plebs will take the yard, and then drag you down the mile to Socialism and Communism where they expect no need to work because the government will provide everything for them.
