The mags look fine to me. Just look at how little this FAL mag is seated:

And that's a 30-round .30cal mag and is gonna be really heavy for a small arms magazine.

I think they look quite good, though your SAW-type weapon has a very short barrel.

I also recommend attempting lineart.

Why does your assault rifle use a 25 round 9x19mm magazine?

That's just silly.

Other than that it seems to be the preset AKM but with a different stock, a foregrip, and a holographic sight. The SMG is the same thing but with a silencer.

Used the Bang System. Was actually reliable, but very complex and thus it was hard to unjam it if it had a problem.

Discontinued. Was fed with 20 round clips. Yes, clips. As you can see, the magazine is not detattachable.

Depends on the overall doctrine you'll be using. Battle-rifles are good because they have long range, high-penetration and high-power. (A 7.62x51mm FMJ will easily pierce a kevlar helmet, for example)

I'm fond of them for the above reasons, but many people you'll ask will discourage you from using an entire regiment with them, because they will have hampered close-combat abilities. For that reason, a bullpup BR is not a bad idea, and neither is a good sidearm.

Your main rifles use two different cartridges, your sniper/marksman weapons three different cartridges, your MGs two different cartridges, and your pistols two different cartridges again.

I think there is either/both a variant of the M1911 in .50AE, or the Deagle in .45; the MG3 is a 'modernised' (1950s/60s) MG42 chambered for 7.62 NATO, the same as fired by the M240; remove the Dragunov as it would be over-specialised in terms of ammunition usage and issue more M21 EBRs in its place; whilst the M14/Tar-21 and M16 mix isn't actually too bad so long as the M14 is limited issue.

Ammunitions standardisation is a very big point in modern armies. If you can afford to, it's a very good idea as you can just buy rounds in hilarious bulk, rather than large and small orders of certain kinds of round.

Meh, I've got 7 variants of the AR-1 BR (not including differing Mod labels), 2 variants of the AR-2 AR (not including differing Mod labels), 3/4 variants of the AR-3 AR (not including differing Mod labels). That makes for as many as 13 different AR/BR type weapons, including 2 sniper variants and an SMG variant, so 10 different AR-type variants, or 18 variants including differing 'Mod' labels.
Then there's Solinyha[sp]'s modernised TKB-022 (to be the SA-AR-4), which has 3 variants of itself, and I've been meaning to lineart for ages. Then the planned AR-5 which is, IIRC, a replacement for the AR-2.
