IMO, rear. By moving it lower and physically over the sight housing, you could claim that it still has the iron sight clear. Though raising the front slightly at the same time couldn't hurt.

And thanks to advice from Muthathanura, I pretty much got rid of the iron sights. Just using that G36 scope for now.
Might use iron sights if I decide to do an assault rifle carbine variant.

sa58 OSW is great. i can also only assume they fixed the spring problems that were in initial 30-rounders derived from the Bren.

I believe that the British actually played around with the idea of introducing 30 round magazines as standard when they were coming up with the 72 pattern webbing, so the mag's not exactly a bad idea. The Australian SASR also used to use them, so there must be some advantage to them.

You mean the Magpul PDR? The KAC one is trad layout, so it might have to do with that, and tbh the PDR is ugly (also, it uses 5.56 NATO).

The KAC PDW uses a round that is virtually indistinguishable from 5.56 save for being a lot shorter, while the PDR could probably be chambered for any of the 5.56 alternatives that will fit in STANAG magazines.

Meh. KAC PDW looks better and tbh sometimes it's just that that matters. Theoretically you could get the aesthetics/basic design of any firearm and just produce it for a different round on NS.

Slightly better, but I'm still not a fan. MP7 is probably my favorite PDW.
