Nope. You're better off just sticking to/modernizing the FAL (insofar as the FAL can be modernized) and supplementing it with above-average numbers of .338 Lapua Magnum or .405 CheyTac sniper rifles. (I'd suggest the DSR-1 for the former round, the second will require some looking.)

I'm almost tempted to do a Khazyani bolt-action rifle chambered in an old-timey round with the same dimensions as .338 Lapua. What do you think?

Go for it. Even though I think we two should stay ahead of the curve and use .408 CheyTac.

I don't think you understand.

This wouldn't be a sniper rifle.

This would be a service rifle, circa 1890s-1910s.
If you need lineart done, specifically edged weapons, bludgeons or firearms, and you need them done in a slightly stylized low-pixel way, and you need them done in under a goddamn hour, I'm your guy.

What's your point? My support weapon is in .405 Winchester... (That's a difference of ~2000 joules, and the .408 CheyTac is another 5000 above the .338.)

On second thought, go .338.

I'm looking for something with good stopping power, as my defense tactic for the military is to turn the country into a giant bowl of sniper filled valleys. Would the SG 550 be a good choice?

In that case, the Kel-Tec RFB might be a good choice for your army. It uses the same ammunition and magazines, but it's lighter (for a given barrel length) and much more compact. The now defunct "Sporter" version, will give the the same overall length as most other bullpups, but you'll get a 24 inch barrel instead of the usual 20 inch one.

That said, the SG 550 chambered in something like the 6.5mm MPC or Tony William's 6.5mm GPC.

Lol, I saw it when you had doubleposted the rifle. Lately your work has been lacking bayonets.

I draw them separately, generally. I like to keep the weapon itself pure, and in its most basic form.

I'm sure it involves copious amounts of sacrifice, both human and animal, due to several pacts with dark gods. (Gods I don't intend to kill, for once.)

On-topically: something something something DaiHan should give me a link to his gallery so I can post my old support weapon.

I'm a bit worried you'd see my comically cartoonish helicopter and sub-par PMG-work if I gave you a link to my gallery, including one automatic grenade launcher abomination.

Look, I'll give it to you if you make a blood-pact not to go to the earliest page.

It doesn't matter that it is superior to both the Thompson and the Sten...because that gun is just hideous. I condemn it to live on the Ninth, Inner-most Circle of Hell.

Yes, yes I do.

Just to help you understand this....you are talking to a person who would rather bring a M1887 onto the modern battlefield (let's say, instead of an AA-12 or another modern shotty)...why?
Because the M1887 has class
