Assuming you're using shells with an ounce and a half of shot, that's somewhere in the vicinity of 45-50 thousand rounds of shot to equal the weight of an adult male rhino. Gatling guns can get up to what, 10,000 RPM? You'd need at least five minutes, and almost certainly more since not all the shot will actually be penetrating into the rhino.

At that point you may as well have just used an elephant gun.

Ah, I've misunderstood you then; I thought you meant to say that a shotgun minigun would be better. I'm of the opinion that miniguns in general are unnecessary. A grenade minigun has a more varied array of ammunition options than a shotgun, that's the only reason I would go with that instead.

Miniguns are great on AA vehicles and aircraft, including helicopter door guns, but otherwise pretty pointless.

That's true I suppose. For surface-to-surface combat I find them to be hopelessly expensive to operate.

There needs to be some infantry with gunshields for that picture to be complete.

If by better you mean using less ammunition, and taking up less space, I wholeheartedly agree. However, I still think that grenade miniguns are more effective than shotgun miniguns, and apparently the U.S. military agrees.

Yeah, I've heard that the Israelis have quite a lot of success with their VADS against ground targets. It's far from a useless system.

And yes, go for it. It'll give you a reason to justify those RRs :P.

My military's main weapon is their sense of Humour

Other than that they are a semi-unstoppable hoard all armed with FN F2000(T)'s and pikes. Artillerysupport is provided by 267 16-stage coilgun batteries fireing a cross between depleted uranium shells and the shells left over from the initial ammunition because we care about the environment (to a degree we can agree on)

Now I'm aware that PMG is a very lazy thing to use, but I always do my best to do unusual things with it. I've made an RPG-style anti-tank weapon with PMG, no blending. Hopefully somebody likes it.

Either the grips should be closer together, or you should only use one. The launcher also looks a bit long, but that could just be me.
