They made a lever action machine gun.

And the What means I've just been left completely confused by the idea in the first place.

So I'm working on this 5.56mm bullpup.
It's gas operated, with a short stroke piston and a rotating bolt. It has a 610 mm barrel to get as much out of the 5.56 as practically possible (Yes it fires the .22 NATO DWI). OAL is ~890 mm.
It uses a 20 round plastic magazine to make the weapon less awkward to use when lying down. The charging handle (under the carrying handle) can be removed with a screwdriver and attached on the other side for left handed shooters. The flash hider is missing because of the 900 pixel limit.
What I haven't decided is whether to use a progressive trigger or a fire selector.
Any advice?

Damnit I look like a douche again.
So two new caseless rounds as follows:
4.8x20 mm & 9.6x40mm, since I can't measure length as well.![]()
Here's a comparison between the two rounds.

Screw that, go down the swiss route(because anything swiss is always better) of 24x138mm at 53kg (130kg+ gun for gun a tripod/trailer with bicylce hitch point)

Did you find that thread you mentioned? I looked but failed.
Also, if you want a PT AT rifle why not go with something so over the top that everyone will laugh at you, until you punch through their tanks like they were tin cans. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lahti_L-39
25mm on a rifle is way over the top.
