Hmm, Since the magazine the magazine is too short I will have it model after the Barrett M82 (From What I can see, Their Magazine is Quite small as well).

I forgot to say. Short in y-axis if its meant to hold 10 bullets like weapon it is based on. But don't count on my word because I am poor at estimating distances/lenghts by eye measurement :) .

Fuck that, imma do a 2-16x autofocusing zoom sight with an integrated laser rangefinder. Oh, and just to be pointlessly excessive it has a CCD and electronic viewfinder too. Helmet-mounted display optional.

This is the SVD we're talking about, though. |:

2.5-16x sight with passive IR detection for tracing IR lasers and infrared lamps, and a belt mounted battery pack for the semi-active night vision intensifier. Paint it kelp green and wheat yellow with ghille grass hanging off it. Sorry, I'm stuck in the 1970s.

No, You are right about the magazine being too small (Noticed it after Like Staring at it for 5 Mins), and I want it to be a Sniper Rifle thus the I change on what its based on after reading the SVD post by Galla- & Co.

1PN58 begs to differ.

It looks like it is somewhat less fat, if the pictures of it and the SVD are to be believed, although I don't have a comparison picture of the two, tbh. ): And as you probably know, proportioning and depth perception are where I am very poor.

All aside, the 1PN58 also fits on the SVD, and is probably far cheaper than the AN/PVS-2.

skinnier scope means smaller objective lens means less light-gathering ability means shittier night vision

quick, mount telescopes with image intensifiers on all rifles

this explains everything wrong with the -58.

and taking off the protective lens increases the gain, giving better lighting

but i'm not sure how it compares to the PVS-2

JZI-01

(Image)

Caliber: 9x19mm Parabellum
Action: Blowback
Overall length: 410 mm
Barrel length: 260 mm
Weight: 3.0 kg unloaded | 3.4 Kg Loaded
Magazines: 32-round box magazines
Rate of fire: 650 rounds per min
Effective range of fire: 200 meters
Sights: Integrated Red Dot sight

The JZI-01 is a sub-machine gun based off the designs of the Israeli UZI though it is completely remodeled and bears little resemblance to the UZI.

The JZI is a blow-back operated weapon which fires from a closed-bolt and is equipped with a separate striker and additional spring, unlike the open-bolt version of the UZI. The Closed-bolt design closes the breech end of the barrel, though it regressed the cooling during periods of continuous fire, The JZI is less susceptible to contamination from sand dirt ingress, a complete opposite of the UZI whose open-bolt is more susceptible to contamination from sand and dirt ingress. The JZI uses a telescoping bolt design, in which the bolt wraps around the breech end of the barrel. This would mean that most of the JZI's weight is located in front of the breech face. This allows the barrel to be moved far back into the receiver and the magazine to be housed in the pistol grip, allowing for a heavier, slower-firing bolt in a shorter, better-balanced weapon.

The receiver is made from stamped steel, with trigger unit and pistol grip pinned to its bottom at the center. The cocking handle is the integrated Red Dot Sights, located at the top of the receiver cover, and does not move when gun is fired allowing the Sights to be usable when fired. The magazine is housed within the pistol grip, allowing for intuitive and easy reloading in dark or difficult conditions. The JZI is fitted with manual safety /fire selector, located on the left side of the pistol grip, and the grip is fitted with a grip safety, making it difficult to fire the weapon accidentally. The protruding diagonal magazine makes the gun easier to fire when prone compared to the UZI's vertical magazine which is harder to fire when prone.

The JZI is fitted with a side folding metallic shoulder stock of a unique design made by the R&D Lab of Terris Caelo.

One immediate but tiny issue that leaps out is the bit about using uzi magazines. Magazines for the Uzi family are designed to be mounted perpendicular to the gun itself as they are straight box magazines, inserting them at the angle you have for the pistol grip will prevent the rounds actually being stripped from the magazine and fed into the gun.

its not a killer to fix as plety of 9mm pistols use sloping magazines and some like the glock series have extended high capacity models that would suit this perfectly. Plus the ability to use glock mags is proabably a bigger selling point considering how much more common 9mm glocks are compared to uzis.

On your riflying thingy it looks more like an accurised servcie rifle than a ground up sniper weapon. One bit of possible advice would be the beef up the barrel and front end, a tthe moment it doesn't really jive with the very ncie receiver and scope.

The M14. It may not be the most cutting edge weapon, but it works. Considering that our military is small, not particularly well funded and doesn't get involved in many wars, it'll do just fine.

The M14 is a fine weapon. Combining power, accuracy and elegance, it is the height of weapons technology. Giving the infantryman unprecedented automatic firepower together with highly accurate and effective long range semi automatic fire, it is a weapon that holds the advantages of modern weapons design without losing those of the previous generation of high powered rifles; the perfect compromise, it surpasses its predecessors and successors to become what is without doubt a highly effective, highly usable rifle under any circumstances.needs moar grippod, tho. oh, and add railz, scopes, and heartbeat sensors so it can be moar cod and stuff. put 5.56 nato round liek M4 and plastic parts, and you have teh best riflol evar
