The Great Revolvisian Factbook
Posted: Tue Aug 11, 2009 9:10 am
Bluh-bluh-bluh, edits are the bane of my existence! History needs edit, intro needs writing, census positions need updating and everything that made the 'Recurring Characters' bit look slightly done is pretty much made non-canon. At least the stuff about my armed forces still makes sense.

Speech and Colloquialisms
Revolvisian speech is, quite frankly, shocking to those who are unfamiliar with it. The majority of familiar swear words in English do not exist, instead replace by 'cleaner' words and phrases. A list of Revolvisian colloquialisms will be compiled here.
"Pocksicker" - Insult, noun. May also appear as "Pocksicking [noun]" or "Pocksick"
"Kuck" - Insult, verb. May also appear as "Kucking [noun]" or "Kucker"
"Frick" - Insult, noun. As with the other insults, it may appear as "Fricking" or "Fricker" on occasion.
"Safer than a crab in Brachyuria" - A rather cryptic colloquialism for those unfamiliar with the nation of Brachyuria. It means that whatever is being described is completely safe.
People/Nations that Revolvisia has personally insulted
Grittonia,
The Griffencrest Corporation,
The Collaboration of Allied Governments

National Holidays!
Revolvisia loves a good holiday, so here is a list of holidays that Revolvisia has and when they are celebrated.
Freedom Week - 28th June to 4th July
Go To The Beach Day - 24th August
National Shrubbery Appreciation Day - 8th September
Want a holiday based around your nation? Ask away!
Economy
Revolvisia's currency is the Post-Jung (aka the Post). All of the Post notes display a picture of Jimi Hendrix, a 'tag' to prove their authenticity and are coloured depending on their value.

Recurring Characters
New profiles will be added as characters are introduced. Profiles of current characters will be added and finished eventually, though I have literally no idea when eventually is going to be.
Army
Revolvisia has an army of well trained people and well built vehicles, though fully devoid of nuclear weapons. This army makes up roughly 1.5% of the populace during peace time, though it can be dissolved into the public, and 4.5% during war reaching up to 5% should the situation require it.
About 0.5% of the population is also put into a special force, Johannson's Personal Detachment (The JPD). These soldiers are the creme de la creme of Revolvisian combat operations and are raised from birth to act as the Lucidarch's invisible task force.
Infantry
1st Armoured Division Krystania - 12 armoured brigades and 8 infantry brigades.
2nd Infantry Division Marhall - 16 infantry brigades.
3rd Infantry Division Barwick - 8 armoured brigades, 6 light brigades and 6 infantry brigades.
4th Infantry Division Alderidge - 12 heavy infantry brigades.
5th Infantry Division Shresburgh - 12 heavy infantry brigades, 4 air assault brigades and the Garrison.
6th Infantry Division Shirik - Deployable divisional HQ.
